I woke up by my alarm screaming in my face, I feel like I haven't slept for a week. I have been kicking myself all night for not asking more questions to my parents as in where is he now? are you in contact? does he know about me? does he have any siblings? does he know he is adopted? is he near us? All these things I want to know but somehow my mind just shut and I couldn't think of anything to say. Silently cursing myself I fought the urge to stay in bed and finally got ready for my lessons.

After showering and changing I made my way into the living room in simple black jeans, a floral top, converse and my trusty jacket.

I went into the kitchen and Olivia came out of her room.

"Hey" she said in between yawns, causing me to do the same ending with on the bus so us giggling.

"Hiya, when did you get in?" I didn't hear her come back so I hope she wasn't staying out for my benefit.

"Oh I bumped into someone at the coffee house and we ended up staying there for longer than planned. How are things with you and your parents?" where do I start.

"Well that's the thing, I don't know. They told me something pretty big and I wasn't sure of how I should have reacted so kept quiet, I have so many questions though" eating my cereal bar as I spoke.

"What was it? if you don't mind me asking that is"

"No it's fine, urm. They told me I have a brother, gave him up and they finally told me" I could feel myself getting emotional even though I don't feel it.

She had a shocked look on her face which soon turned sympathetic.

"Oh my gosh, how are you taking all of that then? your head must be racing!" you have no idea.

"Yeah, I'm a little shocked but I just wished I would have asked more questions"

"Yeah? Like what?" here we go.

"Like how old is he what's his full name? Does he know I exist? Does he have sisters of his own? Does he want to know me? Is he aware of this? And most importantly, where is he?" she looked baffled.

"You didn't ask at least one of those?"

"No, not from what I remember anyway." I don't even know what I asked.

"I think that you should talk to them, you know to get the answers. You will feel so much better." I know she's right so I nod and smile.

"Thanks, Olivia. It's weird that I've only known you for a short while but you know the right things to say" we both end up laughing as it's true! She does.

"What can I say, I can read you like a book.. In a good way that is"

We ended up laughing once again as I walked out of our room. Since my head was spinning from all this information, I decided on getting a coffee.

I walked up to the coffee stand and then I realised that the man who asked all those questions last time was here again.

There was something odd about him, I couldn't put my finger on it but I felt weird around him.

"Ah hello, Aria? is it?" smiling I nodded in return.

"Could I have a small latte, please"

"Of course, coming right up" he looked at me once again, I knew he was going to ask questions but I wasn't in the mood.

"So what's with the glum look? Rough night?" wow straight to the point then.

"Wow thanks, but no. I had some news last night and my head is still spinning from processing it all." he gave me a small smile in return.
