(2)Rocka disaster

                          Uni's POV

     As Cory and I approached the village Rocka, I was immediately hit with the sounds of people, animals, music, and laughter. The ground trembled beneath my feet because of all the commotion in the village. I heard the soft sound of Cory pulling his hoodie over his head beside me. He always wore this hoodie when we approached a village. I guess it covers part of his face..The part he doesn't want people to see.

     Cory hadn't yet told me his camera faced orgins, but I hadn't told him about my blindfold either...so I guess we're even now. My blindfold isn't important. Well...That's a lie. It's very important. Like, sake of the world important, but no one needs to know how that is. Not now at least...

     We walked through big gates and entered Rocka. I felt the gates, and they were rough and sturdy. There seemed to be nothing keeping us out of the village. No guards, no nothing. Strange. Cory and I continued into the village, and I smiled at the happy vibe that was in the air. Everything seemed amazing in this Village, if only I could see it.

     I smelled pastries and other foods all around, and I heard the sounds of shops all around me, all of which booming with people. I smiled brightly as we walked deeper into the village. "This place is pretty sweet." Cory said. I hummed in agreement,  "This place is pretty great." I agreed. We walked together through the town, but I felt something strange. I couldn't shake the feeling deep down inside that something was wrong, but I can't quite put my finger on it. That's strange... I thought to myself, but I decided to ignore it.

        Cory and I continued walking through Rocka exitedly, except something was different now... The strange feeling I felt was getting stronger, as if my body knew what was wrong, but I didn't. I stopped for a moment and looked around, not that I could see anything, but I needed to check for strange sounds. I didn't here anything though, I didn't even feel any strange presences. "You okay?" Corys sudden voice suddenly made me jump. I turned my head in his direction and smiled fakely, "Y-Yeah! Let's keep walking." I said as I began walking forward. Feeling carefully with my feet for any extra vibrations. We walked for a few more minutes, then suddenly a loud voice rang through the air, and I stopped dead in fear and worry. I knew that voice... Oh no... I thought to myself fearfully. He's found me....

                      Corys' POV
        I was walking with Uni, when suddenly a loud voice rang through the air. "Greetings mortals!" He yelled. I looked around searching for the voice, and I spotted the figure on top of the highest building. I used my camera lense to my advantage and zoomed in on the figure to get a better look, and when my camera finally cleared up, I was suprised at what I saw. It was a robot-like figure with a black cloak on. His red eyes glowed artificially, and I couldn't help but stare. That's when I realized that Uni was frozen next the me. I zoomed out of my lense and turned to look at him. He was frozen in what seemed to be fear, and he was shaking ever so slightly. "Oh no..." he murmured. "Oh no? What do you mean 'oh no'?" I questioned in a hushed whisper.

       Uni turned his head to me, "We have to go!" He said quickly. "But wh-"  "We have to go NOW!" he said a little louder, cutting me off. But before I could argue, he grabbed my wrist and began running. "Uni where are we going?" I questioned, but he suddenly stopped dead. He was sensing something, something bad. I looked forward, and froze aswell. We were at the main gates, and there was a strange, thick, black fog-like substance enveloping it, blocking our escape. But strangely, Uni seemed to reconise the stuff, "This way!" He then said, quickly grabbing my wrist and pulling me somewhere else. "Uni, what's going on!?" I questioned loudly. He stopped for a moment and turned to me, "Look Cor, I know you're confused, and I promise to explain everything to you later, but for now we HAVE the get out of here!" He explained quickly. I nodded, "Ok..." Then Uni once again began running, and we soon approached another exit.
But much like the other one, the black substance was taking that over aswell. Uni stopped when he saw this, "No..." he murmured fearfully. Then he took a step away from me, and began jumping. It probably looked weird to other people, but I knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to sense farther away with his feet, bigger jumps mean bigger vibrations for his feet. So he kept jumping for a few moments before he stopped, and his head was drooped in defeat, "There's no other way out..." he said, his voice laced with fear and defeat. I was still very confused, but I put my hand comfortingly on his shoulder, "Don't worry, Uni. We'll be o-" but my words were cut off as the ground suddenly shifted strongly with a loud noise. I fell the the ground, and so did Uni, but when I tried to get again, the ground moved again, causing me to fall. I huffed in annoyance, then the same loud, robotic voice as before called out, "Good, now that I have your undivided attention, I'm looking for someone. And everything I've checked says he's here. So, im going to do a... thorough check." He said. And I looked back up on the top building to see that the robotic figure was flying down to the ground with some sort of jets from his back. His pitch black cloak flapped in the air as he came down.

     I also noticed that everyone from the town was on the ground, and everything was quiet. The only noises were the robots jets, and the sound of some children crying. I watched through a narrowed lense as the robot landed gently on the ground with a clank. He looked over all of us, then laughed darkly, "Well then, this shouldn't be so hard...For me." He said. Then he walked over to the man closest to him on the ground. I watched as he asked the man a few questions, then stopped. "Thank you for your time, now goodbye." The robot said. I wondered what he meant by goodbye, then suddenly the robot pulled out a sword and slashed the mans throat, killing him instantly. Blood pooled around the man, and I heard many people gasp, and some start crying. I clentched my teeth angrily at the robot. Then the robot turned back to us, "The person I'm looking for, you know who you are, if you come out now, then no one else will have to die." The robot said. He scanned everywhere, and no one moved. I glanced at Uni, and he looked scared stiff, but he was also deep in thought, I could tell. The robot continued to scan us, then shrugged, "So be it. I shall kill everyone here until the adventurer owns up to me." He said simply.

      The robot had killed 7 people now, 4 men, and 3 women. I gasped as he walked over to a lady with 2 kids. He lifted his sword, and the lady stood defensively infront of her children, bracing herself for death while her son and daughter cried behind her. Then I snapped, "Hey! You oversized tin-can!" I yelled at him while standing up. He was quite big, almost 2 times my size, but I didn't care. "Cory, no!" I heard Uni whisper-yell. The robot stopped dead in its tracks and turned to me, he saw me and laughed darkly. "Oh? You want to try to stop me? You worthless pile of flesh." The robot questioned. I nodded, "Yeah! Why don't you pick on someone your own size!?" I yelled. The robot stared at me for a moment, then laughed darkly and stepped towards me, "How about I pick on you?" He said darkly, and I took a step back. He held his sword tightly, and I pulled out bow. Then the robot began to run quickly towards me, sword extended, ready to slash me. But something happened that I didn't expect. The robot was about to get me, when Uni jumped up infront of me, "Graser stop! I'm here! No one else has to get hurt!" Uni yelled. I froze, "You...Know him?" I questioned quietly. Graser stopped, "Hehe, so you decieded to show up?" Graser growled, but Uni didn't move, "Yes, I have." Uni was shaking slightly, and I felt bad for him, but my confusion overran all. "You're a coward, you know that. " Graser growled. Uni tilted his head down, "Yeah...I know...But im a smart coward." Uni said. "Wha-" Graser began, but was cut off when Unt threw a large rock that he'd been holding right at Graser, and it flew over him and just barely hit his back with a clink. Graser barely moved, then he began laughing darkly, "Did you really think that would do anything?" He questioned with a hiss. "No, but I think this will." He said as he quickly ran at Graser and jumped into the air, jumping right onto Grasers head, I saw him hit something quickly before jumping off of him. Graser took a step back, "What-" he began, but was cut off when his jets went off, sending him flying into the air quickly with and angered yell. His jets took him really high, and as I was watching him fly up, Uni grabbed my wrist, even through his blindfold, I could tell he was satisfied with what he'd done. "Come on! That should buy us some time!" He said quickly. He ran towards the exit closest to us, and I was suprised to see the black fog melting away, leaving us an opening to escape. So we took off together, running deep into the woods.

A/N soooo sorry for the long wait!!! It was my fault, i've been busy, and this book isn't really my main concern at the moment, but im going to start updating it more since I've thought out what's going to happen in it!!! Well anyway, I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE AN AMAZING DAY, AND GOODBYE PEEPS!!!!!!
