(15) Dark Intentions

                        Ashlies POV
        I sat nervously with the others, in the small clearing that we sat in. "Should we go look for them?" Nick questioned nervously. "Carl can take care of himself." Tommy said simply, but I could hear the nervousness in his tone. "But you saw Uni! He seemed really upset!" Jon cried worriedly. I gently put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure they're fine...." I said quietly to him. "I hope so..." He muttered quietly. Why did Uni want us to stay away from him so badly? I thought worriedly, then I heard footsteps approaching. Everyone stiffened nervously, and we all stared at the bushes, waiting for whoever was going to emerge.

    All of eyes were locked on the bushes as they began to tremble. Then, two familiar people emerged from the bushes. "Uni!" Jon exclaimed happily, running towards the blue haired boy. He hugged Uni tightly, and Uni stiffened for a moment. Then Uni hugged Jon back, tightley, yet comfortingly. Cory watched the two with a small smile. "Welcome back, Carl." Tommy said with a smirk, standing up and walking towards Cory. He patted him on the back, then he looked over to Uni, who was now trying to escape Jons hug. "Are you okay, Uni?" He questioned, and Uni paused. "Oh yeah, I'm fine!" He said with a small smile, though I still felt like he was hiding something.

       "Should we stay here and rest for the night?" Nick questioned. Uni turned his head towards us, and Jon slowly released Uni from the hug, leaving Uni sighing in relief. "No." He said simply. "But-" I began, but Uni cut me off. "We're getting close." He said simply. "To where?" Jon questioned, and Uni shrugged. "The Destino." Uni said simply. "How do you know?" Nick questioned, and Uni sighed. "It's...Complicated..." Uni murmured, then he began to explain.

      "Have you ever felt...Pulled towards something? Like, you feel like you HAVE to go to it, and sometimes you don't even understand why?" Uni questioned, and we all glanced at each other. "Not particularly..." Nick said, seemingly confused, and I agreed. "Yes." Tommy and Jon suddenly answered in unison, and they both looked at each other in suprise. Then they looked back at Uni, and he was smiling slightly. "At least some of you understand, but anyway...Something inside is telling me where to go, and It's telling me that we're close to wherever it is that we're headed." Uni said simply. "So let's keep going." He finished.

      We were walking through the forest, and Uni and Cory were leading, as usual. I was walking next to Jon, and Nick and Tommy were side-by-sude, also normal behavior. Then, suddenly, Uni stopped, and he held his hand out quickly, warning us to stop. I watched him curiously as he began to whisper to Cory. "Cory...Your bow..." He whispered, and without question Cory pulled his bow out, and pulled an arrow out. He held his bow, and Cory gestured for him to draw back his bow. Cory did as Uni wanted, and he aimed it directly forward. Uni slowly placed his finger on the tip of the arrow, and he slowly began to aim it more right. Uni then let go of the arrow.

      He gestured for Cory to shoot, and Cory shot exactly where Uni had wanted him to. There was a thump as the arrow hit something on the other side of the brush infront of us. Then, there was a whimper/Whine sound from behind the brush, then the sound of something falling to the ground with a thump. I looked to Jon in suprise, then watched as Cory gave Uni a high-five. They walked together through the brush, and I followed more slowly. When I emerged on the other side of the brush, I was suprised to see Cory and Uni standing iver the corpse of a large deer. An arrow stuck out of its heart, and a small trail of blood ran from its mouth. "Oh cool, food!" Tommy exclaimed happily, and Nick chuckled at his reaction. "Dude, we just ate berries a few hours ago." He laughed, but Tommy turned to him. "Those were berries, this is a deer." He joked.

       Nick rolled his eyes, "Wow, you love to eat, don't you?" He said teasingly. Tommy huffed, "Obviously." He said jokingly. I smiled a bit, then Cory spoke up, "We'll stay here for a short while and eat, dry out some food, and rest up a but. Then We'll continue on our journey." He explained. "Sounds good." Nick said with a smile, sitting on the ground with a plop. The others followed his lead, and I did the same. Cory pulled out his knife and began cutting the meant, while Nick and Tommy started a fire.

                          Shelby POV
       I was sitting by the fire in our small clearing, sharpening a stick with my small blade. I heard heavy footsteps approaching, but I didn't look up. "Welcome back." I said simply as Graser walked through the brush into our small clearing. He only nodded, "How was the mission?" I questioned. "Successful." He said simply. "I believe he is breaking more.  He'll be ours soon." Graser continued. "He's already be ours if he didn't have those stupid friends with him." I muttered darkly. Graser nodded, "Oh yes, speaking of his 'friends'...I have a mission for you." Graser said. I sighed heavily and looked up at him, "Yeah boss?" I questioned, making my way slowly to my feet.

     Graser stared at me, then he began to speak. "I want you to attack one of the pests." He explained. "What do you mean by 'attack'?" I questioned. Graser smirked, "Just slash them open or something, don't kill them....Let's just give the a....Reminder....So that they don't get too comfortable." Graser explained. I smiled darkly, "Sounds good...Any particular one?" I questioned. Graser shook his head. "No....Just whoever you can get, but don't let them see you..." He said seriously.

      I nodded, "Yes boss....Shall I leave now?" I questioned. "Yes...Just teleport, they're staying in the same spot right now...That should make your job easier." Graser said. I smiled, and immediantly began to fade away as teleportation began to enfold my body. I playfully saluted Graser as I faded, "See ya later, Boss." I said, my voice fading. I shut my eyes, and when I opened them, I was in a new area. I smelled cooked food nearby, and I figured that I already knew who it was. I smiled, and Let's get this done.... I thought to myself. Then I looked over and saw a large rock, perfect... I thought, and I walked over and grabbed it. I picked it up and through it in their direction, it caused a loud crashing noise, and I smiled slightly. "Maybe that'll attract a pest...." I murmured to myself. Then, I walked over to the shadows, near where the crash had been made, and hide there, waiting for my victim.

A/N Yeah, It's bad, I know...It's kinda late right now, and I'm exhausted, but no felt inspired, so I decieded to write a chapter for you guys....So...Suprise, I guess....? Well anyway, I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY, AND GOODBYE MY LOVELY DOVES!!!!!
