                        Jons POV
I stared at the small leaf in my hand once more. My hat, which was still damp from earlier, sat on the ground beside me, and my damp, droopy hair fell over my left eye. My gloves also sat beside me. I was once again holding the same small, green leaf as before. The tingly, powerful feeling it gave me still satisfying to me. Even if the small leaf gave me bad memories, my yearn to hold it still overran me. I looked up in the darkness, everyone around me was sleeping, or so I thought. Uni and Cory were sleeping side by side, while Tommy was curled up away from them, his large tail wrapped around himself. Ashlie was asleep a few feet away from me, and if im being honest, she was adorable. Then, I became aware of 2 red eyes peering at me from near Tommy.

I stared at the eyes for a moment, fear bubbling in my stomach. Then I realized that it was just Nick. I sighed in relief and looked back at my leaf. Then, I heard someone shuffling closer to me. I looked over at Nick, who was now sitting beside me, staring at the leaf that I held. I looked at him, his hair was fluffy and messy, unlike how it looked when we had ground him. Fluffy hair seemed to suit him better than the slicked back hair from before. His eyes were bright red, and it was creeping me out. His eyes glowed red in the darkness, and it illuminated his face in a creepy manner. "Why are your eyes red? I thought you liked them brown." I whispered quietly. Nick looked up at me, "Oh, sorry. I have nightvison when they're red." He said apologetically, his eyes fading to their normal chocolatlety-brown color.

Nick looked back down at the leaf that I held. "That's a Spirit Lily." Nick said quietly. "A what?" I questioned. Nick smiled in the darkness as he stared at the leaf. "A Spirit Lily. When they bloom they have beautiful pink flowers on the bushes, and people used to say that spirits that were stuck on earth would stick by these plants, so that they could see the plants beauty eternally." Nick explained. I looked nervously at the plant. I don't like ghosts... I thought nervously.

"They've also been known for having healing properties in them." Nick added. "That's cool." I murmured. Nick nodded, "Elders say that if the right person finds the plant, then they could possess the healing properties within their soul." Nick said. I looked at him in suprise, but said nothing. Nick looked at me, meeting my purple gaze with his brown one. "Why do you like this plant? It's such a simply leaf." Nick said quietly. I looked down, "Well, it sounds like this plant has quite the story." I murmured. Nick shifted beside me, "You never answered the question." He said. I sighed, "I-It's complicated..." I stuttered. Nick was silent for a moment, then he shrugged, "Who knows, maybe your one of the special people that possesses the healing power of these plants in your soul." He said with a smile. I laughed quietly, "Maybe..." I murmured, looking up at the beautiful night sky. Nick yawned beside me, "We should get some sleep. I think we're gonna be traveling alot tommorow." Nick said.

I nodded and yawned quietly, "Yeah..." I murmured. Nick slowly inched back to his spot near Tommy, and I laid down where I was. I looked at the lake that I was near. We had decided to stay here for the night, since we were all tired from our splash fight. I smiled at the memory of our splash fight. It had been the most fun that I've had in years. Though there was no clear winner, it was still amazingly fun. Uni and Cory had begun throwing rocks in the water around us, splashing us from outside the water. Though, Uni was more careful when throwing the rocks, since he couldn't sense where we were in the water. He could only listen to our laughs and the sound of our splashes. It truly amazes me how well we get along... Who knew that a group of misfits like us could work so well together. It's almost like fate chose our paths, so that they would directly cross with each other...But Im glad, because it finally feels like I have a family! I thought exitedly. And that was my last thought before I fell asleep.

                             Cory's POV
"Cory..." I heard someone whisper. I groaned in annoyance and shifted slightly. "Cory... Wake up. We gotta go to Malas Noticias." The voice said again, slightly shaking my shoulder. I sighed in annoyance and opened my lense. Uni was beside me, his hands still on my shoulder. He seemed to be able to tell my lense was opened, because he smiled and said, "Finally, ya sleepy head. We gotta get going, everyone is already up!" Uni said frantically. I quickly sat up and looked over to see everyone either gathering their stuff, or waiting patiently to leave. I stretched quickly, then I quickly scrambled to my feet.

I turned to Uni, "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I questioned with a yawn. Uni just shrugged, "I dunno." He said simply. I huffed, then looked back at the others. Jon looked deep in thought, and Tommy and Nick were chatting quietly to each other. Ashlie glanced at Jon, then she looked at Uni, "Are we leaving?" She questioned. Uni nodded and started walking deeper into the forest, away from the lake that we'd just found. I walked next to Uni, adjusting my bow that hung over my shoulder. "When do you think we'll arrive?" I questioned Uni shrugged, "Maybe... 2 hours?" He said. I sighed, "Yay...More walking." I complained playfully.

"We're almost there!" Uni suddenly exclaimed through the silence that had once surrounded us, making us all jump. "Geez Uni... Mind not giving us a heart attack next time?" Tommy huffed jokingly. Uni laughed in embarrassment, "Yeah...Sorry about that. I'm just excited!" He said. I smiled, "Well It's good to have some excitement on this journey... Is there any particular reason for your excitement?" I questioned curiously. Uni smiled, "Well, everything's exciting! And We're getting closer to my soul destination, I can feel it!" Uni said with a smile. I sighed, "How do get so excited about a simple town?" I questioned. Uni just shrugged, "It seems cool to me. We've been everywhere, but this is a new town, isn't that exciting at the least?" Uni questioned. I shrugged, "I guess." I said.

"We're near the town. I can hear it." Tommy said suddenly. I glanced at him, and I saw his ears were pointed forward, as if he was listening close. Uni nodded, "It'll be in view soon." Uni said. I nodded, "I can't wait to be there." I said with a smile. "I don't know why, but this town seems like bad news." Tommy murmured. I looked back at him in confusion, "What do you mean?" I questioned. Tommy looked right at me, "Im not sure...I just gotta bad feeling about this place..." He murmured. I shrugged, "Im sure It's nothing." I said quietly. Tommy stayed silent. "There it us!" Jon suddenly exclaimed, pointing infront of us. I looked forward, and I smiled as I saw the large, rock walls of Malas Noticias.

We approached the town slowly, and I took in the sights. There were large walls surrounding the town. The walls were made of rocks, and they rise highly above the town. The town was very large, and the sounds of people came from inside. There were 4 large watchtowers on every corner of the walls. There was guards in every watchtower. The guards looked down at us, as of studying us, then they pulled a lever. There was a huge creak, then the stone infront of us began to separate, opening up to allow us to enter the town. I stared inside the walls in awe. Buildings lined inside, and shops and stores filled the inside. Vibrant colors of cloth shine in the sunlight, and I smiled. "Let's go." Uni said, breaking me out of my thoughts. I nodded, and we all began walking into the town, together.

A/N Just a warning, shizzle is gonna go in the next chapter! So prepare yourselves. Also, if you wanna know a hint about the town they're in now, look up what Malas Noticias means in Spanish:) Now, as always, I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY, AND GOODBYE PEEPS!!!
