"Yo Delilah!" I yelled as I descended the front stairs. She threw her bag in the car before turning to look at me.

"What?"

"You sure you wanna ride with mommy." I baby talked, smirking, knowing it irked my half sister.

"Shut up, asshole!" She scowled before stepping into her mom's tiny Mazda. I threw my bag into the passenger side as I climbed into my Nissan Patrol. A smile slid easily onto my lips as the engine revved; it was a beautiful sound. The wheels rolled smoothly down the driveway and onto the rode, screeching slightly as I sped away. Black Veil Brides blasted from my speakers as I crawled to a stop at a red light. A red convertible that I knew belonged to Jamie Howard pulled up beside me.

"Seriously, dawg? BVB?"

"Fuck you, Howard."

I wasn't ashamed of my music preference. As long as I liked it, I didn't give two flying fucks what anyone else thought. I slammed my foot on the accelerator as the light flicker green, leaving Jamie behind to eat my diesel dust. The school came into my view, as did crowds and crowds of kids. Freshmen. I groaned internally as I pulled into the school and circled the lot, trying to find a park. As I was about to pull into one, Jamie's convertible came flying out of no where and stole my park.

"Too slow, Athens."

"Again, fuck you, Howard."

I tediously began circling the lot once more, almost finding a park, but stumbling a motorbike instead. The rider had just pulled in and was dismounting. I slowed to get a glimpse of who it was. As the helmet was lifted, brown curls cascaded down the rider's back. Brilliant brown eyes flashed and caught mine. Estelle Murphy owns a motorbike?! The gorgeous latina girl sashayed away, smirking as she did so. Finally finding a park, I pulled in and jumped out of my vehicle.

"Sup Floyd."

My eyes landed on my best mate Judah Donovan, his short, messy brown hair almost hung in his hazel eyes that pierced my own.

"Hey dude." I grabbed his extended hand and clapped his back before walking beside him to the entry.

"So, what's with you and Jamie?"

"He dissed my music. I don't stand for that shit."

"Dude. Seriously? You're being petty like a little bitch."

"That's sexist." A new voice said as it floated by. Caspian Black passed us, sporting a black hoodie and jeans, his knuckles turning white around the strap of his side bag.

"Fuck off, Black!" Judah hissed.

"Judah, leave him alone."

"Why? He's a little pussy wannabe."

"And you're a dick. But I don't see him complaining."

Judah stopped and looked at me. Well, looked up at me. He was shorter than I was, but just as strong. He could probably beat the shit out of me, if he wanted to.

"You're really starting to piss me off with your sappy bullshit, Floyd."

"Yeah, and you're starting to piss me off with your dicky attitude."

I left Judah standing there, deciding not to deal with his shit today.

The hallway was absolutely crowded with people. Girls, guys, teachers, all running around like worker bees in a hive. I adjusted my bag as I sauntered over to my locker. As I approached, I locked gazes with none other than the gorgeous Chelsea North. Her sea green eyes are sparkling with mischief and she flips her long dirty blonde hair over her shoulder as she adjusts her position.

"Good morning Floyd."

"What can I do for you on this fine morning, Chelsea?"

"Oh, nothing. Just wanted to walk you to your class."

"I thought that was the guys job?" I say sarcastically.

"I'm sure you can skip for a few minutes. Besides, you are quite the gentleman."

I rolled my eyes and slammed my locker shut. Chelsea jumped back.

"Sorry, I have somewhere to be."

I walked away, leaving the blonde in a whirl of confusion. My first class wasn't far so I could afford to spare a few minutes, but no way in hell, purgatory or heaven was I walking Chelsea Fucking North to her class in those few spare minutes.

Hey there."

By this point, I was getting sick of talking to people. I whirled around, ready to release a mouthful of curse words but to my surprise, Estelle was leaning against the wall, staring right at me. Staring right up at me.

"Hi Estelle. I didn't know you were into motorbikes."

"Oh? Well, considering my dad is in a motorcycle gang,"

"Oh! Shit sorry, I didn't-"

"Calm down Athens. I was joking around. My dad's an accountant."
The bell sounded and Estelle strolled into the class giggling. I followed a few minutes after, slumping into my seat. Estelle sat two seats in front of me. Her stunning dark brown curls were like silky waterfalls of chocolate cascading down her back, shifting slightly every time she moved.

"You're late again Mr Donovan. That's the third time this week."

"Yeah yeah miss."

Judah and Miss Green walked in together, a rare sight, but not suspicious. This isn't one of your fanfics, Floyd! I shook my head and prepared my headphones for the class ahead.
