in the dark, cold night i hear a sound in my head;repeat track of everything you've ever said.

"robin!" i yell through the phone. i hear her groan.

"it's literally midnight, what?" she hisses. i giggle and pause for emphasis.

"i've been clean for one whole month! isn't that great?" i bite my lip.

"yeah, that's absolutely amazing! i knew you could do it!" i hear her sitting up in her bed. "i'm coming over."

"what? right now? it's midnight," i protest.

"you woke me up, so i might as well do something productive. i'll be there in a few."

"but-"

"no buts, love you!" she says, hanging up. i gasp at her ignorance and decide to lay back down.

i get up after hearing a knock on the door, letting her in.

"i'm not impressed," i look up at her, stifling a laugh.

"well i'm here so let's cuddle." i smile and stick my tongue out before leading her back into my bedroom.

"also, nice pyjamas," she touches my shoulders and laughs.

i glance down at my pink poop emoji onesie.

"thank you, it takes effort to be as perfect as me," i smile, flipping my short hair.

"echo, wanna watch a- oh hey robin," tyler opens the door.

"'sup, tyasaurus rex," robin replies, doing finger guns. i roll my eyes and giggle.

"so, i'll just leave you guys alone, uh, goodnight i guess," he waves, robin and i laughing.

"oh, and use protection!"
