jenna forced tyler to let me stay home this week. i wake up(sadly) and walk downstairs, not bothering to get dressed.

"hello, carrots," josh says from the kitchen table. that's the name he's given me because of my obviously red hair. i smile lightly and sit next to him.

"so, for lunch, you, tyler, and i are going to taco bell, yeah?" he says and i nod.

i get on the same stupid big sweater that my cast just barely fits into, but still covers my arms. i also put on some galaxy leggings because why the fuck not?

we enter taco bell and order before sitting down and chatting.

"so, echo." josh says.

"yes?" i say, looking up at him. he tries to hold back a smile.

"you can come on tour with us. you've already had a hard time," tyler says. i sit in (silence. sorry, read on) awe, gaping at them before saying thank you so much that the author can't and doesn't want to count.
