"Do you love this man?"
I questioned that actually.I saw as my peers looked at me with sorrowful eyes. Yet they still did not understand. Looking into his eyes, I saw a desperation. Not just money too feed off of him.
In his eyes, as he smiled at me while saying "I do," I felt the sincerity in his words. Yet I still questioned myself. Did I love this man? Or was it just some sort of act of kindness.
Marrying him was a choice I made willingly. Simply because his eyes showed me the truth. Guided me to another galaxy, full of happiness and bliss.
He promised he would give me it all, as he locked our promise with a tender kiss.
Some smiled and congratulated our marriage. While others frowned upon us. He never noticed, his thoughts were always full of me. Although I did, I ignored them as we danced to the lullaby played for just him and I.
Did I truly love you Kang Daniel? I couldn't answer it myself. Yet somehow, I couldn't say no to you. I wanted you to myself.
The night we married the honeymoon was set. That night, you never touched me without my consent. Only eyeing me and smiling my way. You would hug me, and give me a kiss on the cheek.
Whispering sweet nothings in my ear like, "Baby are you ok?"
"Do you want a kiss?"
"Would you like a hug?"
Ending these questions with a soft,
"I love you." Every time that you got.Chances, I gave you plenty. Not that you needed them any less. You were so sweet and gentle. I would pester you about being hungry everyday that I came home from work.
So you made me lunch, even dinner before you left. It's funny how you didn't stop me from working Daniel.
I remember telling you that I could fend for myself. No matter how much money you had, I wouldn't let you control my income.
Even though you agreed, I still noticed that my boss let me get off 3 hours earlier than the others. And that you would sometimes call me off, and tell my boss to lie and say that he had an "Afternoon meeting."
You do know that I knew that was you, right Daniel? You are indeed an odd one.
Even so, those small things made me fall for you more. The way I'd wash my hair of long days of work. I would slip on my pajamas after a hot shower. As I let you play with my hair as I'd fall asleep.
You would massage my shoulders so I would sleep. Or at least you thought I would be. I would feel the kisses you would leave on my neck before carrying me to bed.
Treating me like a kid. Yet I'm not one. Yet you would always remind me that I was your baby.
Even when I denied your embarrassing words. Still, you would hold me in your embrace. I loved that side of you.
And as you would smother me in your kisses, the way you would smile effortlessly as you looked at me. Soon, I realized the feeling I had in my chest was definitely love.
I loved you so much Daniel.
"(Y/u)?" A voice echoed as the light from the tv shined onto your skin. You turned around tiredly to face him. His bunny-like smile showing as usual.
He had his arm near you as you both laid in bed. "Sleepy head." He teased. Yet you only closed your eyes once more.
It had been 6 months since Daniel and you had gotten married. Even though it had been awhile, your relationship with him had stayed the same.
Not that you disliked it though, having a husband was weird. But with Daniel, it felt like having a high school boyfriend all over again. Not that you ever had one.
Daniel poked your cheek as he tried to wake you up. But your eyes wouldn't open peacefully. "Wake up.." He whispered causing a small shiver to form throughout your body.
Turning around you mumbled, "Daniel..I'm thinking." His brows furrowed as he questioned you. "About what, the movie wasn't that deep." He teased again. Rolling your eyes you turned his way.
"Not the movie dummy, just about you." You mumbled. Daniel eye smiles showed after hearing you say such a thing. Looking into your cover, you closed your eyes.
"Should you have married me?" You quietly asked. You thought only you could hear this. It was something that you had been questioning about for months.
A hand placed on your chin brought you back to reality. As the kiss planted on your lips answered your questions.
"How could I not marry the one I love." His words rolled off his tongue like warm honey. Embarrassed a bit by his actions you turned around shyly. Trying to escape his embrace.
Daniel laughed at how shy you were. His smile disappearing as he wrapped himself around you. His raspy voice vibrating on your neck as he spoke.
"Don't ever ask that again."
You heard him say. His words made you feel butterflies in your stomach. But as you sat there and thought about what you had asked, a smile formed on your lips. What a silly question for you to ask.
Daniel loved you dearly, and you couldn't help but admit that you loved him just as much.Hey GUYS! It's been awhile so I may be a little rusty with my Imagines but I hope you guys still support this book :) I will be writing 11 more stories in this (including this one.)
