Chapter 14

*Hayes's POV*

I went to say hi to my older brother, Nash, and tell him about what happened these past few days because I tell him almost everything and we are really close to each other. He brought his girlfriend,

MacKenzie, but we call her Mac. I say hi to her too and I told her the same things I told Nash. Both of them were so happy for us! "That's great bro! I knew she liked you haha Lindsey and Kayla told me a while ago, just because they knew I could keep it a secret from you," Nash told me. Mac said,

"I didn't know this at all. Good for you! You guys are too cute together!" I was so happy to be with Meg. She's my whole world. Everything about her was just so amazing and I just love her so much. After I tell Mac and Nash everything, I went back to be with Meg because she was kind of alone. I go up behind her and put my arms around her waist and kiss her cheek. She giggles and says, "Let's go back on the porch with everyone." I nod at her and we tell Nash and Mac to come too, so they follow us back there and we see that most of the boys are already in the pool. Me and Meg want to join them so I take off my shirt and jump in. She jumps in after taking off her sun dress, leaving her in a bikini. Wow she is so beautiful... I can't believe a girl like her would like a plain old boy like me. I'm really lucky.

*Kayla's POV*

I still can't believe Cam and I are dating now. We get off the swings and say hi to Nash and Mac, only talking to them for a little bit, and then heading into Meg's house just so we could cool off for a few minutes. Cam and I can hear the radio in her because the windows are open. We start to dance to it and then a slow song comes on. Cam walks up to me and holds out a hand, dramatically saying, "Kayla, will you take this dance?" My heart is melting. "Yes I will Cameron," I say happily grabbing his hand. He put a hand on my hip and I put one on his back. Both of us look into each other's eyes and smile widely. We sway back and forth to the rhythm of the song. Cam pulls me closer, so I'm nuzzled in his chest and he is resting his head on mine. We move our arms, so mine are around his neck and his are wrapped around my lower back. "I hope we last forever, Kayla. You make me feel like no one else can. You make me feel really... I don't know... Special, and I hope I make you feel special too because you are the most perfect human being in the world to me. I love you so much babygirl." He called me babygirl and said I love you... I'm dying inside right now. "Cam," I tell him, "I feel the same. You complete me. Every time I see you, or even just see a picture of you , I immediately smile and just think of everything about you. We were meant to be and I hope nothing goes wrong because this seems perfect so far. Hopefully it stays like this. I love you too." "Let's go outside again so no one asks what we were in here for. You know how they would. Haha," Cam tells me. He is way to perfect to be my boyfriend. I hope I never lose him. My heart beats for him and only him.

*Lindsey's POV*

Shawn and I were kind of bored until Kayla and Cam come over and talk to us, since Meg and Hayes and everyone else was in the pool at this point. "Jump in guys! It's fun!," Aaron yells. "Ehh, maybe in a little bit," I yell. Kayla and Cam are too cute! They do little things that are just too adorable. We are talking about the weirdest things. How do we even get to these topics... All I know is that Cameron and Shawn are making me and Kayla laugh way to hard; I guess they are perfect for us. Me and Kayla always like people who can be funny and weird with us. They fit those standards perfectly. "We should get in the pool! It's really hot out," Cam tells Kayla. She agrees with him and they stand up and get ready to jump in together, holding hands. They count to three and jump. "Aww! They seem so right for each other, don't they Lindsey?," Shawn asks me. I say that I feel the exact same way. They are really like a perfect couple. I got up and stretched, telling Shawn I'd be right back. "Okay, I'll be here haha," he replies. I head inside and decide to fix myself up a little  bit. I took off my dress and just put on shorts and a t-shirt over my swimsuit. I also put my hair into a cute braid that wraps around my head, since I was sweating. I go back down and Shawn is just where he was when I left him, but on his phone. "Sorry if it took me a while. My hair didn't want to cooperate with me," I tell him. He says "It's fine! I like your hair like that a lot actually! Your outfit is cute too." I say thank you and we just kept talking, and Shawn would occasionally check his phone and do something. "What are you doing?," I ask curiously. "Just texting someone, don't worry," he says. I just say okay and we keep a conversation going as we watched everyone in the pool and laughed at some of the things they would say and do. Meg and Hayes are splashing each other playfully and Cam is doing things with Kayla too. They are doing handstands and throw each other in the air. Shawn keeps fidgeting and biting his cheeks. I ask him, "What's up with you? Why are you acting nervous?" "Can't tell you... I can't tell you yet at least...," he says to me. I tell him that's perfectly fine and he could ask me or talk to me if he ever needs to. "I'll always be here to talk to and you have my number too, so you can always get to me. Just know that, okay?" He smiled and gave me a quick, but sweet hug. I look at him in the eyes and could tell he was just filled with happiness. "Thanks! Same goes to you beautiful," he says to me. I said I won't forget that and he would be my almost first go to person because Kayla and Meg were just like sisters to me. I'm glad I have another person to be able to talk to. Especially a guy, so I can have a girls and guys advice to see a couple different views. I'm still curious why he was more nervous than usual. I guess we'll find out sooner or later...
