Chapter 19

*Kayla's POV*

Lindsey and I just watched our little Meg go out on a date with the boy of her dreams. She's growing up too fast! "They are too cute! We should probably get going right? You could come over if you want, but it's up to you," Lindsey says as I geet a text from Cam. I tell her, "One second. Cameron just texted me," as I open his text.

Cameron: I wanted to ask you something:) Will you go out to dinner with me tonight? Hayes took Meg to a movie, which you probably knew haha xD so I just wanted to see if you would like to go out too, like on our first real date as a couple. What do you say? 

Kayla: Sure! I'd love to! Let me tell Lindsey:) What time and stuff?

"I can't come over. Cam's taking me out to eat for dinner. Sorry," I say to Lindsey. She says, "That's fine! Awww! You'll have a lot of fun. I'm really happy for you girl! I think I'm having Shawn come over for a little while anyways, sooo yeah. I'm going to go home now. Have fun!" I respond by telling her I'm leaving Meg's house too and will have fun; she will have fun with Shawn too. "Bye Winnie! Love ya! I'll be texting you and stuff probably! Byeee," I yell after her as she gets ready to leave. I wave as she goes and I go back to my house too. Oh yeah! I have to see when Cam's coming and where we are going!

Cam: I couls come pick you up at your house around 7:00:) Does that sound like a good time? I could come later or earlier if you want though its up to you beautiful<3 

Kayla: Sorry! I was doing something! oops... Yeah 7:00 sounds great! I'll get ready now! See you soon!

Cameron: Okay babe;) Me too. See you later. Don't feel like you have to dress up very much for me because you look perfect any way ;) Love you<3

Cameronnnn! Ya killin' me! He's seriously the best boyfriend anyone could ask for! I can't even! I guess I need to shower! After I showered, I blow dried my hair and straightened it too. Lindsey helped me pick out a dress to wear. I sent her two pictures and she told me which one was better. He's really lucky because I hate dressing up! I put that on and had a little extra time before Cam comes to pick me up. I decide to pack a little hand bag for extra make up and my phone. I can't wait! Cam texted me saying he would be here soon and I began to panic. I call Lindsey because I'm really nervous and afraid something will go wrong. She instantly calms me down and I thank her. She is the best. "Thanks for calming me down Lindsey. Love you, I have to go bye," I say and hang up the phone.

*Cameron's POV*

Dinner with Kayla tonight. Why am I always scared and Nervous around her? I know she loves me, but I guess I feel like I'll screw up something and she'll hate me. She's so perfect and I just don't want to lose her. I just want to make her happy and impress her. Okay Cam, you'll be fine! I tell myself. I washed myself up and threw on a dress shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. I fixed up my hair and made sure I put on a lot of cologne because I know she likes when guys smell good. She likes my cologne a lot, so she'll go crazy. I feel a little calmer now and I hope everything goes good. I look at myself one more time in the mirror before I text her that I'm on my way. 

Cameron: Hey babe;) I'm on my way to get you! Don't rush either! I can't wait to see you

Kayla: I can't wait Cam! I have to be honest though... I'm a little nervous :0 

Thank god we both feel nervous! It's not just me!

Cameron: It's totally fine! I'm a little nervous too actually:/ 

Kayla: Okay good! I thought I was the only one! K I'll see you soon:*

Cameron: Okay Kayla:) Love you! xxx

I am really excited to see her beautiful face again. I pull into her drive way and she was waiting in the door way. So looks... More than amazing. I smile at her and she gives me a shy, cute smile back. As I walk up to the door, she walks out and says, "Hey Cam... You look really awesome! Am I too dressed up?" I just stare into her eyes and say back to her, "No! You look... stunning. You look perfect, gorgeous, beautiful, and wow..." I'm so awkward, but I guess Kayla likes it because she jsut looked at me and hugged me after. "Let's go to get some food. Is Olive Garden  okay?" Kayla nods at me and tells me that we have to get bread sticks, since they are her favorite. We got in the car and the time flew by. We got to the restaurant and got a table in the corner for two. It's a perfect seat. "So how was your day today?," I ask to try and start a conversation. She looks at me and says, "It was pretty good actually! Meg and Hayes looked so cute together when Hayes picked her up. They are getting really close to each other and are already serious about their relationship and keeping a strong bond between one another. It's seriously so cute to see how much they like each other." I am smiling... I'm not really sure why. She asks me why I'm so happy and I say, "They are really cute, but we are even cuter. I feel like we are connecting too and even stronger than them. Sparks flew when I first saw you and they haven't stopped. Every time I look at you, I think to myself, I'm so lucky to have you and I don't know why you like me out of everyone else in the world. I love you so much Kayla." Wow that was deep haha. She just looks me right in the eyes and says, "Cam, want to know why I love you? It's because you made me smile and would always be so nice to me. You actually flirted with me a lot before we started dating, even though you might not have thought you were. You make me feel beautiful, like no one else can. I love you so much Cam. Don't ever leave me because I'd be a mess without you in my life." I don't know what to even say to that. I have no words, so I smile, grab her hand in mine, and squeeze it as I rub circles on it with my thumb. We order our food and I we got back to the topic about why we love each other. I told her another reason I loved her and I'm sure we sound stupid right now. We probably sound like people in movies do, but it's all 100% true and meaningful. I leaned in to kiss her... again. She leaned in too and it was sort of passionate, but not too much, since we were at Olive Garden especially. When we were done eating, we payed and locked arms to leave the place. We got in the car and I told her I could drop her off or we could both go back home to my house. She told me, "I'll go back to your house with you if you want me too!" ; her parents said it was okay either way, so she chose to stay with me. I walk in the door with her right next to me and we plopped down on the couch. I put on the t.v. and both of us changed into more comfortable clothes. I put on grey sweatpants with an old t-shirt that had lots of holes in it. I gave Kayla a pair of my boxers and a shirt to put on for the night. She inhaled the cologne on occasion and I giggled. "What?!," she said sounding confused. "Nothing  haha, it's just that it's really adorable how you're smelling my shirt," I say. Kayla told me, "Well, you smell really good!" I say thanks and walk up to her, hugging her into my chest. "Let's watch t.v. and get ready to go to bed, okay?" Kayla yawns and says, "Okay, good because I'm getting tired anyways haha." We both walk over to the couch and i sit down first. I pat my lap and she sits down, nuzzling into my chest. I grab all her hair, lift it up, and gently blow on her neck, since she feels kind of warm. "Night Cam. I love you," she says sleepily, still on my chest. "Goodnight beautiful. Love you too." With that, we both fell asleep, cuddled up on my couch. This is how it should be. How it always should be.
