*Shawn's POV*

Me and Lindsey walk into the garage, where Kayla, Meg, Cam, and Hayes are. The first thing I do is go and give Kayla a friendly hug. "I did it Kayla. Thank you so so so much for the advice!," I tell her. "I'm so happy for you! It wouldn't have happened without me," Kayla says flipping her hair. Her, Lindsey, and I laugh and I say, "It actually wouldn't have Kayla! I really can't thank you enough." She just said, "No problem!" Everyone else seemed to be confused at the conversation between us. "What are we missing here?," Hayes asks Kayla and I. "Kayla helped me build up the courage and confidence to ask Lindsey to be my girlfriend and she said yes. That's what I asked to talk to her about earlier." "Congrats dude!," Cam said sounding really excited for us. Hayes said congrats too. I love this feeling. Everyone is so happy for me and her. "Thanks guys, especially Kayla..." I say to them. A car pulls into the driveway and we wave at Meg's parents. "Hi mom, hi dad!," Meg says. She goes over to the car and greets them with hugs. All of us, mostly the guys and I are nervous about what they'd think of us. Lindsey and Kayla walk over to Meg's mom and dad and said, "Hi aunt Liz and uncle Jim!" They explained to us how she is so close to them, so they just call her their Aunt and Uncle. Meg pulls me, Cam, and Hayes over to meet them. "Hello! I've heard some good things about you boys! Nice to meet you all," Meg's mom says. Her dad just says, "Hi guys," sounding kind of harsh. Meg whispers, "Ignore him... He's overprotective of me. My mom is better about these types of things. He'll get over it soon." We nod and head in the house, following Meg and her parents in. We make our way into the living room, bringing back all of our movie memories from a few nights ago. Almost everyone was talking and happy, except for Meg's dad. Kayla and Cam sat close, but not touching, Meg and Hayes sat a little farther apart than them, and Lindsey and I sat next to each other, just barely touching.

*Kayla's POV*

I'm glad Shawn took my advice. We all have really great guys to be ours now. Uncle Jim asks our boyfriends to all go with him to one side of the room. Cam looked at me with wide eyes and Hayes seems more nervous than both Cam and Shawn. Aunt Liz told us that we might as well all just talk while the guys are talking in a group. "So girlies, how were you when we were gone? Everything go okay?," she asked us. "Yeah! everything was great! I'll fill you in quick, like I said I would. Okay I already told you that me and Hayes are dating. Kayla and Cam are too now!," Meg tells her mom sounding joyful. I tell her that it is the best thing that's happened to me... Ever. "That's great! What about you Linds?," Aunt Liz says. Meg and I look at Lindsey and she smiles saying, "Shawn asked me just a little bit ago to be his girlfriend actually, so we are dating now." She looks even happier than normal. That's what I love to see. We all seem even more happy than we were because they were a part of our life now. I was Cam's, Meg was Hayes', and Lindsey was Shawn's now. "Ooo! Got your first boyfriend! He seems like a good one! All of them seem like good ones for you all," Aunt Liz told us. She's the best, being all supportive and stuff. Uncle Jim on the other hand... not so much. The girls and I begin to listen to the guys' conversation going on. None of them were even paying any attention to us, only to Meg's dad. He was saying stuff to Hayes first, since Meg was dating him and she was his daughter. "I don't want you guys alone in a room together without someone. Don't you dare hurt her or I'll get you young man." Meg lips to me, "Well then... That's not harsh at all!" I silently laugh and Lindsey must've seen what Meg said because she did the same. Uncle Jim starts, "And Cameron..." Cameron says, "Yes, sir?," and Uncle Jim continues, "same goes to you. No being alone in a room with Kayla. Again, don't even try hurting her." Cameron nodded and said that he wouldn't give him any problems and Hayes nods his head to what Cam said. There was a little moment of silence and then Cam pointed at Shawn and said, "What about Shawn?" Shawn was just standing behind  and to the side of Uncle Jim. "He heard what I told you boys, right Shawn?" Shawn looks him in the eye and says, "Yes I did." All the girls start to talk again and the boys sat back down on the couch staying quieter than usual.

*Meg's POV*

They all look intimidated by him. He went to the basement to be alone and secluded from us, as usual. My mom tells the boys straight away, "Don't worry too much. He is really protective of people he loves. You'll be fine, just relax. Know I'm glad you're all happy with each other!" Good thing she was trying to calm the guys down, since they are acting weird right now. My mom is just weird and wants to go and ask everyone what they love about their girlfriend or boyfriend the most. She likes relationship things like this and that's why I love her. We can always 'boy talk' and she always knows how to get some conversations going, trying to make the boys feel more comfortable. I grabbed Hayes' hand to comfort him. Kayla was rubbing Cam's back and Linds just scooted closer to Shawn, so that they were touching legs and their shoulders were touching too. I could see the boys all start to relax and be more back to normal. My mom told me to start, so we would just go left to right down the couch. I say, "I love how Hayes is just so laid-back; there's a lot more but I love that especially about him. He smiles and says, "Hmmm, only one thing.... I love how Meg just doesn't care what other people think of her." I just love him so much. He makes my life complete. Next up was Cam and Kayla. Cam said, "Kayla tells me things and she trusts me almost as much as Linds and Meg already. That's like the best thing ever I think." Kayla looks at him while he looks at her and they keep smiles on while he tells her that. My mom is just grinning and raising eyebrows at each person. I have the best mom ever. "Okay, so Cameron... Cam always can make me laugh. He does the smallest things and they brighten my mood. He always keeps me positive." Aunt Liz says, "Aww! Too cute!," and winks at Cam and he nods once at her. Then to Linds. "Shawn makes me feel really good about myself. He will always compliment me. Even the smallest compliment is the best from him to be honest. He was shy at first but he came more out of his shell now." Last, but not least, Shawn's turn, "Oh Lindsey... There's a lot about you... I love how you are always smiling and are joyful around me. It makes me instantly feel better too." He put his hand on top of hers, which was on her knee. My mom was so ecstatic for all of us! She is so supportive of our relationships and told us we were meant to me. 'Love you mom!' kept repeating in my head. We all can agree she's the best.
