Summer Romance

Chapter 17

*Cameron's POV*

All of us were talking for a while and I decided that we should all go home, knowing Meg's dad probably wouldn't want or let us stay over again. "Umm... We should leave soon guys. We could go to my house again. No one is going to be home for a little while. Is that okay?," I tell them. They nod back at me, looking sad. Kayla makes a pouty face and grabs my arm and tells me I can't leave. I turn her towards me and pull her in for a long hug. "It's okay. I'll give you one of my shirts and we can text for however long you want to and whenever you want to. We can always call each other too. Don't worry Kayla," I tell her as we rock side to side, still hugging her tight. "I love you, beautiful." She tells me she loves me back and I head out to the car. I sit in the driver's seat and just sit there in deep thought about how much Kayla means to me. I already miss her... How am I going to get through a night without her next to me, sleeping beside me.

*Hayes's POV*

Cam told me and Shawn that we sould go because of what my gorgeous girlfriend's dad said. He seemed angry, so we all agreed to leave and go back to his place. "Meg, don't be sad. We will be texting and sending funny pictures and stuff for a while haha. It'll only be for one night... hopefully. Love you gorgeous. Don't forget that." Meg responds by grabbing my hands and looking at the floor and she says, "I know, but it won't be the same without you here at night. It's okay though. We will see each other tomorrow somehow. I love you Hayes. I'll miss you." I really do not want to leave right now. I want to be with Meg. I kiss her goodbye and I go meet Cam in the car. He and I feel the same way right now. We felt lonely and incomplete.

*Shawn's POV*

Cam said it was time to go, which meant I had to leave Lindsey. I stood behind her and pulled her in close to me. My hands are around her hips and hers are on top of mine. I put my head into her neck and say, "I know I'm leaving with Cam and Hayes, but I'll keep my phone on, so I can keep talking to you." She seems just as sad as Kayla and Meg were about their boyfriends leaving. "We can snapchat eachother too, since we all got each others earlier when we were talking to Megan's mom. We can text for however long you need to, okay?," I ask with my head still pressed into her neck. She sighs and says, "Okay..." We both say I love you and blow each other kisses as I walk out the door to leave the house. Cam and Hayes are both on their phones texting the girls they are in love with, and Cameron put his down and started the car to leave. The girls wave out the window and Hayes and I text Meg and Linds, since Cam had to drive. We finally got back to Cameron's house and we all go in the front door to sit down.

 *Kayla's POV*

Lindsey and Meg were already texting Shawn and Hayes. Cam was just driving, so I didn't have anything to do. I know they've only been gone for a little bit, but it feels like forever. How would I last a whole night if I can barely even last a few minutes. I need him here with me. I know we have only been dating for a day, it feels like this is going to be a long and close relationship. He makes me feel special, like no one else has before. Meg and Lindsey always make me feel good too, but it's just different coming from a guy, you know? Finally! Cam snapchatted me. A smile immediately was put on my face. Lindsey said, "What's up with you miss happy face?" I tell her Cameron snapchatted me. Meg said, "Aww! Gotta see his face don't you?" I nodded as I opened the snapchat. It is a picture of him in the mirror of his bathroom... Shirtless. It says 'Hey beautiful<3  I miss you already;)' Ughh! He is trying to kill me. I freaked out on the inside and Lindsey and Meg looked at me oddly. "Cam's snapchat he sent me killed me. Oh my god. Let's just say he was shirtless." Lindsey said to me, "Ooo you go girl!" I just laughed and snapped him back, making sure he could see that I had his shirt on. It smelled so good and was really big on me,  so it was comfortable and I loved it.

*Meg's POV*

Hayes and I were taxtiing funny pictures back and forth. They were mostly from tumblr because it usually has some pretty funny things on there. Twitter did too, so I looked on that as well. I was laughing out loud for once. I usually just smile or giggle once or twice, but these things he was sending were making me laugh really hard.Kayla and Lindsey would laugh at me and then when I show them the picture thet laugh even harder than before. I found a few vines too, so I sent them to Hayes. All of a sudden, he randomly sent me a picture of a couple that had paint all over them and the boy was holding his girlfriend in the air while kissing. With the picture he sent, he wrote, "We have to do this sometime! It would be so cute and really fun! ;)" I showed Linds and Kayla and they said that it would be adorable if me and Hayes did it. I respond to Hayes by saying, "I'm picturing our faces in this... It is 100 times better ;) I miss you already :( I need you here!" He responded quickly. "I miss you too gorgeous. It feels weird without you:( Let's keep our mind off it and just keep sending pictures, okay?" I tell him okay and we were basically just sending cute couple things back and forth for a while.

*Lindsey's POV*

Shawn and I were just texting or, on occasion DMing on twitter, since I'm always on there. Kayla and Meg are being all flirty with Cam and Hayes, and they would flirt back with them. Shawn and I were just kind of being normal, then Kayla asked me what me and Shawn were doing since her and Cam were snapchatting and Meg and Hayes are texting cute things. I say, "Not really anything. Just texting Shawn." She gave me a look that basically said, come on... that's it?..., as she runs up to me, takes my phone, and runs into Meg's bathroom and shuts the door, locking it behind her. 

*Kayla's POV* 

I stole Lindsey's phone and began to type a text to Shawn. 

Lindsey: Hey Shawn it's Kayla:)

Shawn: Hey what's up?

Lindsey: Not much haha okay, so I have an idea. You need to flirt and be all cute with Lindsey more because everyone else is and you guys aren't lol

Shawn: I'll feel dumb if I like mess up or something... HELP you're good with advice! What do I do?

Lindsey: Okay so start out calling her cute names and then just do what ever you want to. She's trying to pick the lock right now so just wing it. You'll be fine, trust me. Here she is again;)

So I deleted all the messages just in time because Lindsey got the lock with a bobby pin from Meg's drawer. I'm so lucky I deleted thoese fast enough. She ripped her phone back from me and said, "What did you do?!" I just lagh to myself and tell her, "Ohhh nothing haha," with a grin on my face. She shrugs at me and we went back in the living room with Meg. 

*Lindsey's POV*

 What did she do to my phone? I check my pictures and then my twitter and other social medias. I guess she might have just wanted to see something? I don't know. Bing. I just got another text from Shawn. 

Shawn: Hey babe? You still there? 

He called me 'babe'?! I freak out and smile slightly and feel my cheeks get a little red. Kayla saw me and smiled with her teeth and her eyes closed. Meg saw and just made a funny face at us, looking back at her phone short after. She must have gotten a text from Hayes after that. They are so cute. oh yeah... I need to respond to Shawn! I think of something to say..

Lindsey: Sorry :/ Kayla stole my phone haha. So what do you want to talk about now baby? 

I said baby... Is that stupid? I don't know we will find out. While I wait for a response, Kayla and Meg talk to me about some of the things they are doing. Meg and Hayes are so cute and are used to texting like this... Like being all cute with him and stuff. Kayla wasn't bad either from what I was hearing abut them. She's just a natural I guess. Me on the other hand... Not so much. I'm going to try and use some tips from them.

Shawn: Up to you princess;) I'm really tired haha. I'll stay up for you though because I love you so much and you are my everything. 

Why are all the boys trying to kill us? This is not okay... We are so lucky. 

Lindsey: I'm tired too lol I still smell you on my clothes<3 Kayla has Cam's shirt on and Hayes forgot his cologne over here, so she sprayed that on her and in her room :) We are watching tv right now. I wish you were here... I'm cold:(

Shawn: I wish I was there with you:( We could be cuddling again and if you're tired, you can go to bed baby:) I'm not going to keep you from sleeping. 

Lindsey: I guess I will try to go to bed... Without you. Night baby<3 I love you so much

Shawn: I'm going to lay down too. I love you more ;) Sweet dreams Lindsey <3 Night! xx

By this time, Meg was asleep on the couch under a blanket with a stuffed animal that she was clinging onto. Kayla was under a blanket too, but still on her phone snapchatting Cam. I told her I was going to go fall asleep as I plug in my phone and grab myself a blanket and lay on the empty, cold couch. We need our loves of our lives here; It's not right without them. We are truly, madly, deeply in love with them. I slowly fell asleep and I think Kayla did the same thing.
