『July 13th』

First day of the festival. Yay.

I was stuck working with the girls, four girls for a bread and shaved ice stand? I'll never understand it. Anyway, Suwa is gonna take off with some girls and leave Naho with Kakeru. Although he is into her he has to ship Naho and Kakeru cause of the girls and that's what's written in his letter. I've read everyone's before writing this. They lent it to me cause of pity, I hate all of them.

Is it me or are these letters getting shorter?

"What do you think boys?" Azusa smiled, striking a pose in her shorts.

"It's looks great, why only the three of you?" Kakeru asked curiously. Azusa grabbed Naho's brown skirt.

"She's wearing her too, see?" She lifted the skirt to show the shorts we were all wearing as Naho swatted her hands away, asking if the boys saw.

Just as the letter said Suwa left with a group of females and gave his pool hose to Naho. He mouthed a sorry to me as I waved, making sure he knew it was okay.

"They're so cute." Azusa commented as she picked up a cup from one of the tables.

"You say that to everything." I responded with a roll of my eyes. Takako agreed with me as Azusa disagree and put the stuff by the cash register.

"One shaved ice please." Maria walked up to my stand and slammed her hand on the table. She smiled and hugged me before flipping her long orange hair over her shoulder.

I gave her a blueberry shaved ice, cause it was her favorite as she payed and and sat on the table next to my register.

"I'm just working backstage at the stupid theatre, I got this kid to sub in for me for a bit." She told me, eating the cold treat from the cone.

"I need to pee, cover for me." I told her, as she groaned.

"But I'm on break!"

I thanked her and walked away and headed towards the school's bathroom. I did my business, adjusted my necklace and fixed my hair before leaving the bathroom.

As I was about to exit I saw Ueda who smiled at me. "Hey [Name], got a sec?"

I shrugged and followed her, if anything I'll just kick her down and carry on.

"Are you and Kakeru dating?" She asked, she was leaning in the side of the staircase as I shook my head.

"No, even if we were it isn't any of your business."

Ignoring me she continued her questioning taking a step closer to me. "Where'd you get your necklace?"

Her hand almost touched my necklace before I slapped it away. "Don't touch me." She retracted her and hand as I crossed my arms. "Look, I understand you're mad Kakeru broke up with you and everything but harassing me isn't gonna help anything. And I swear if you do it to Naho, Azusa or even Takako I won't hesitate to hurt you."

I exiting the building and went back to my post, Maria yelling at me for making her late and dashing off. Azusa asked what my problem was and I told her what happened in with Ueda, telling her to watch out for her.

"I hate that girl anyway, all I need is another excuse to ignore her." Azusa rolled her eyes, gazing at Naho and Kakeru laughing.

"At least someone's having fun."
