April 23rd

When I read over everyone's letters, every day they regretted something. It's complete bull, especially Naho. Maybe it's cause I'm already mad at her but everyone feels regret, it makes us human to sometimes speak before we think.

Anyway, today's mission inquiries you to offer making lunch for Kakeru.

Reading the others letters he had join the provisional member of soccer team today. Figure out a way to offer making him lunch before the evening, give it to him during lunch.

I can only tell you what happened, since I wasn't around for those times. I'm relevantly useless, I just want my brother back.

Might as well start telling you my backstory so you won't get bored.

I received a letter, just like you on the 6th of April. It was a note from my future self, telling me that a boy had died. (It's located on the first note you saw.) I listened and avoided whatever scarred me, but that doesn't matter. In my future they saved that boy, but my brother died of heartbreak.

Good luck today.

"Hey guys." I smiled, walking over to Naho and Azusa who were pulling out their lunch boxes.

Azusa greeted me as Naho said hello, patting the seat next to her.

"Yo Kakeru! We going to buy buns you coming?"

"Don't you have lunch Suwa?" The dark haired male asked him. In response he only nodded and shrugged, standing to his feet.

"It's never enough for me."

A tight smile formed on my face as I pulled out my own lunchbox. "Guess I'll have to make heftier servings."

Suwa finally had noticed my presence and my eyebrow twitched as he chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. Kakeru glances in my direction with curious eyes.

"You make his lunches?"

I nodded, sighing sadly. "Yet my hard work goes to waste."

"I still eat them!" He pouted, crossing his arms like a child. Though it could be believable I doubted it.

I opened my box, Kakeru smiling. "It looked really nice," he turned towards Suwa. "I wish my mom would make me lunches like that."

He laughed as Suwa and Hagita began leaving for the cafeteria. He followed, leaving the girl's to stare at me.

"What?" I picked up my utensil and took a bite of my food as Azusa slammed her hands on the table.

"Kakeru! Did you not just see the way he looked at you?"

"No?" I answered, confused and with a mouth full of food.

"You just love to jump to conclusions." Takako muttered, taking a bite of her own food.

Takako is probably the quietest one, long shiny black hair and beautiful blue-gray eyes.

Naho stood quiet beside me, glancing down at her food.

"Hey Kakeru! Wanna come watch practice? A little birdie told me you love the sport and may be even better than me!"

Finished packing up my stuff I sighed at the amount of work I have to get done. I walked over to my brother, going over to tell him I wouldn't be watching practice today as I usually do.

"Right [Name]?"

Suwa wrapped an arm around me as Kakeru glared darkly at me.

"Huh?"

"You told me he likes soccer! And that he could beat me any-" Cutting him off I jabbed him in his side. He arm dropped my shoulder to clutch his hurt stomach.

"Now why the hell would you tell him when I said don't!" I seethed, the gang able to hear and slightly giggle at Suwa's pain.

"[Name].." I stand up straight at Kakeru's voice. He walks over to me and hits my head lightly. "You bigmouth."

I rolled my eyes playfully and the gang bursts into laughs, teasing Kakeru at his action.

As the laughter died down I adjusted the strap on my shoulder. "I gotta go guys."

Suwa turned to me. "Aren't you staying to watch practice today?"

"Can't, I got a bunch of stuff to do and apparently make a larger serving of lunch for you." I sighed and looked at Kakeru. "To bad, I wanted to especially since it's the rookie first day but duty calls." Shrugging I bid a goodbye to everyone and made my way home.

I placed my school stuff on the kitchen table and hung up my jacket, going upstairs to change and grab my headphones. Though I am home alone in the house I still put on my headphones and open the fridge for a quick snack.

Deciding on fruits I chopped up my favorite which happen to be [Favorite Fruit]. I placed the [Fruit Color] slices in a small glass bowl and got started on my homework, almost forgetting to text Kakeru about lunch. I placed my mechanical pencil down and picked up my phone, seeing Kakeru's contact and sending him a text.

[Name]: Hey Kakeru, this is [Name].

I placed my phone back down and worked continued to work on [Least Favorite Subject], receiving a response quickly.

Kakeru: Hi [Name]! I almost forgot I gave you my number haha

We had continued to make small talk before I decided to bring up lunch.

[Name]: I'm debating on what to make Suwa for lunch, considering that boy doesn't eat my food I should leave him starving? lol

Kakeru: Haha! What are your options?

[Name]: don't know yet, but do you want lunch too? I'm sure to have a bunch of leftovers lol

Kakeru: I wouldn't mind but you don't have to, thank you though.

[Name]: Too late! I'm bringing you lunch tomorrow and you're gonna love it!

I smiled and closed the app, focused on the difficult homework placed in front of me.

I finished my homework by the time Suwa got home. He sat at the table and told me all about soccer practice. He looked so happy, he said the way Kakeru moved out on the field was amazing and both of them make a great team. After an hour of begging Suwa got him to join provisional, he was too hesitant on joining the actual club.

"I can't wait to see him tomorrow then." I smiled, standing up with my backpack on my left shoulder.

He raised an eyebrow but shrugged. "We should talk about the letter today."

He followed he upstairs as I agreed. "Yeah, mine is slowly starting to give me clues."

I dropped my stuff on the floor before closing my door, going downstairs.

"Kids! We're-" My aunt walked in and cut herself off by our presence in the living room.

The way the bottom floor of our house is set up the kitchen and living room are open and one room. The dining room was past the staircase and through a short wide hallway. There is a closet in that hallway where our washing and dryer are along with other household items.

"What do you guys want for dinner?"

We spent the night hanging out with Suwa's parents, me texting Kakeru before I had to go for dinner.

The next morning before class started, I texted Kakeru.

[Name]: Good morning! I have your lunch with me make sure to pick it up after class. (I have to meet Maria in the cafe)

Mission complete.
