"Wake up or we're gonna be late!"
Another loud bang comes from the other side of my white wooden door. The knocks were so loud I was sure it would break from the hands smashing against it so hard. I rolled from my bed, trudging to the door. Twisting the gold doorknob, I see the same old chestnut hair and ebony eyes I'm so used to. He juts out his hand, a letter with my name etched across the front of it. I take the black and white striped envelope from his hands before slamming the door in his face. He mutters and storms off, his old brown shoes heard clanking against the floorboards as he walked down the steps. I opened the Sephora looking envelope, before glancing up at the clock.
If I didn't start getting ready I was gonna be late for sure.
Groaning I placed it down quickly and began my morning routine.
Thanks Suwa.
『April 6th』
I got a letter today.
I don't get why this was sent in a Adidas styled envelope. If I ever write a letter I'll make sure to do a better job.
It only told me that, some kid died. He was friends with my brother and that at some point, I should avoid certain locations.
Yet I don't listen, what's the point?
It's so weird though. Being in the same class as my brother and a new kid actually transferring in.
That was the letter I received.
Except this time, you need to listen.
A boy will transfer, Kakeru Naruse into your class. He's gonna sit in the back next to jerk-face Naho.
Your cousin (I'm sure we called him brother back then) will invite him to go out with his friends, I stayed behind because his friends and I weren't ever close.
You will go and you will make sure Kakeru Naruse doesn't!
Get close with Suwa's friends. Trust me it'll be worth it.
"What's that?"
Suwa nudged shoulders with me and leaned in to try and look at the paper. Flinching away I held it close to me. "None of your business!"
We were walking towards the school building, I wanted to read the letter as soon as possible. I couldn't stand opening it and not reading it this morning.
"Oh sister, how you love me so dearly." He put a hand to his chest and sighed dramatically, making me hit his arm.
"Shut up. It's important and has nothing to do with you."
Folding back up the pages I put it back in the envelope, it was a lot of paper. I slid it into my small backpack and walked into class with my brother. He walked off, saying hey to one of his friends as I sighed and took a seat in the front. My assigned seat was right by the teacher's podium.
I began to think of the letter. What did I mean I've made some mistake twice? What happened to Suwa and why is it Naho's fault?
"Okay quiet down." My teacher walked in, a person trailing behind him. "Everyone say hello to our new student." The boy stood beside the podium, right in front of me. The teacher was writing on the board as I looked at the boy. He had an average height. His hair and eyes were dark, and he wore the typical high school uniform issued by this school. Which was expected. There was only one thing that stood out though.
He was very attractive.
"Kakeru Naruse."
