May 1st

Apparently Kakeru quits soccer club after provisional is over. He quits the club, but since I already read Naho's note she stops him. Don't worry about that.

Today your free, it might as well be your birthday.

Okay I'll pick up where I left off in the last note.

In my timeline, they've already saved Kakeru. Suwa's letter with the picture of him and Naho ceases to exist in my world. Which isn't right. Suwa becomes Kakeru's best man at the wedding and although he is all smiles then, soon after he shows signs of his hidden pain.

I bet your thinking, why all of this for some selfish reason? There was someone meant for him but why couldn't he wait?

I don't know, he's so selfish to leave me by myself. I've been such a wreak because of it. You're the only one with a note written from my timeline, everyone sent the original note they received instead remaking it. They don't know anything..

You're free, happy birthday.

"Suwa!" I yelled, placing the note on my desk. I got up from my desk chair and rushed to my open door, knocking on Suwa's closed one. Shouting his name my aunt told me to stop and that he left for practice already.

I put on my shoes and backpack, my school uniform already on. I usually get up early and get ready, only to goof off before school actually starts and I need to leave. I sometimes sit through morning practice, but I haven't recently.

Walking in the slight May breeze I took a swig from my water. I somewhat didn't like our uniforms. We had to wear skirts, which is an argument among most females. Though having to wear it for a long time as made me immune to the issue, but the school wants us to wear vests and a sweater. Those are currently stuffed in my backpack as I just have a short-sleeve white button up and my school issued skirt.

"Suwa! Open this dam-"

"Hey [Name]." I turned and saw Kakeru walking up, him dressed in shorts and a plain white tee.

"Hi Kakeru, good morning." I smiled, moving my hands that were latching onto the sliver wire.

He laughed walking next to me and turned to look at me. "You want some help?"

I nodded as he shrugged, beginning to climb the fence before jumping over. He opened it from the other side as I thanked him.

Why didn't I think of that?

"Should I ask why your here so early or assume you joined the team?" I rose an eyebrow, walking past him and onto school grounds.

"Heh, then you would be right." He scratched the back of his head. "I just hope he doesn't make a big deal."

This timeline is already changing.

"Good luck with that one, that's why he was shouting last night?"

Kakeru laughed again, we made some small talk as we made our way to the field. The other day, while we were texting he had confined me about his mom. I can't remember what we were talking about prior to that though. I told him I lost someone too and that we should should talk in person. That time hasn't arrived yet, when he actually tells me what happened.

"Waking early is gonna be so difficult, that's one thing I'm not looking forward too."

I nodded, it was the truest thing I've heard this morning. "Honestly, I don't know how Suwa does it. He always wakes me up for some unknown reason."

We arrived at the field as his presence was noticed by the soccer team first. Some of the members waved to me, only knowing me cause I'm Suwa's sister.

They ran a couple laps then did something else but I wasn't paying attention. I was reading over today's note, slowly, it made a small bit of sense.

We didn't talk during practice, we talked on our way to class but even then he said afterwards.

Suwa told the entire class about Kakeru joining the club, the one thing he didn't want. After our morning classes, I began to pack up to go to the cafeteria. Kakeru was going to come over any second to pick up his own lunch but there was someone at the door.

Everyday while I was watching practice and most likely doing homework there was always a girl with me cheering. Ueda was her name. She had copper brown hair, and bright eyes.

When I turned to look at what she was staring at I saw the entire gang looking at the doorway as well. She was probably looking at Kakeru, she asked me his name once at practice so she can cheer him on. Even if she is, it isn't any of my concern today. As it said in my letter, it's my day off.

"Hey [Name]."

I turned from the doorway to see Kakeru with a smile. I greeted him before taking out his lunch. "Enjoy Kakeru." I handed it to him as he said a thank you, I smiled as he walked away. I grabbed my own lunch stuff and exited the classroom to meet up with Maria.

The rest of that day was pretty average. When Suwa, Kakeru and I we walking home and Kakeru when his separate way towards his own house Suwa and I finally talked about today's letter. We were gonna read the next one with one another.

But when I got home, after dinner I had a call ring through my phone.

I picked it up with a bright smile on my face, "Kakeru, hey!"

"Hello [Name]."

We talked for a pretty long time, we didn't talk about his or my own parents. But we did talk about waking up early.

"Kakeru." The boy hummed, shuffling being heard slightly. "You want me to wake you up or something?"

He laughed, "I was actually hoping you would offer.."

Shaking my head, I rolled my eyes. "Trust me I noticed. I'll give you wake up calls."

Suwa walked in, knocking on the door as I patted my bed.

I told Kakeru I needed to go before hanging up, placing my [phone color] phone on my desk. I picked up the papers beside it and sat with him.

"Was that Kakeru?" He asked, a small smirk playing on his lips.

"Yes, don't think anything of it."
