everyone yells "ohhhhhhh" i look where the bottle had spun and i saw ethan, of course.
i look over at mia who's smirking at me. she mouths 'go for it'. i smile at her then look at ethan.
he's laughing as his friends that are pushing each other around then he looks at me and smiles
" are we going to do this or not?" i say standing up and sitting in his lap and wrapping my legs around his torso.
" wait guys is it a make out or kiss?" ethan says looking around
" make out make out!" people chant over and over. i laugh and look at him.
"is this okay with you?" ethan says holding my waist
" of course" i say then leaning in and kissing his lips.
as soon as our lips connect i feel a shock of electricity shot through my body. i feel butterflies form in my stomach, as our lips move in sync i smile to myself. his lips, those soft pink lips.
as we brake apart we look into each others eyes and just smile. everyone around us are all chanting and laughing but i block them out and feel like i'm in another world.
i've never felt so happy
" wanna go talk?" ethan says looking into my eyes
"yeah" i say looking into his
we both stand up and move through the crowd into the backyard. there are fairy lights in trees and around poles. ethan and i sit on a bench under a tree that is filled with beautiful fairy lights. i look up at the tree studying the beauty of how the lights make the perfect 'romance' lighting.
" well that happened" Ethan says with a laugh.
i looks at him and see him smiling to himself.
" it did happen" i say smiling at him
" i'm really happy it happened" ethan says smiling at me
" can i ask you something" i say looking into ethan's perfect brown eyes
" of course" ethan say turning himself to face me.
" well grayson said you are interested in me but you only talk to me today? how can you be interested in me after a science class?" i say looking at him
" ruby, you're not invisible i've known who you are since freshman year but i was scared if i talked to you my fans would think we were 'dating' or i was 'interested' in you. so i would look at you and smile at you but you would never notice me." ethan says looking at the ground.
" wait you knew who i was?" i say smiling at him
"all my friend did, well because i wouldn't stop talking about how beautiful you are" ethan says smiling at me.
" you know my friend tessa?" i say looking him
" yeah you're best friend?" ethan says
"she's interested in grayson but thinks she's a nobody. could you ask or like give hint that she is interested?" i say smiling at him
"anything for you" ethan says smiling
i smile to myself
" you're so pretty" ethan says looking at me
" you're so sweet" i say smiling at him
he smiles at me
" ruby we have to go!" i hear mia yell as she runs over to me
"what why?" i say looking at her confused
" mums mad and thinks you're missing because you never go to party's and she doesn't believe me!" mia says sounding stressed.
i laugh to myself
"that sounded so sad" mia says laughing
" i will call her, do you want to stay?" i asked Mia
" it's 12 o clock and we have school tomorrow i think we should go " mia says smiling at me.
" okay i'll meet you out the front " i say smiling at her.
" okay" she says smiling at me then walks away
" well i'll see you tomorrow?" i say standing up from the bench.
" yeah" Ethan say smiling at me as he stands up from the bench
he hugs me around the wais and i hug him with my arms around his neck.
as we stop hugging i look up at him and say " thanks for tonight"
" no thank you " ethan says smiling at me
i laugh and say " i'll see you tomorrow" and i start to walk to the front of the house.

as Mia opens the front door i notice the house is completely dark.
" she must of fallen asleep" Mia says whispering
" you hungry?" i whisper as she locks the door
" nah i'm just gonna go to sleep, goodnight rubes" Mia says walking to her room.
" Mia?" i say as she is about to walk into her room.
Mia turns around and slightly smiles at me
