chapter 9

 i walk into the house and it's empty, i walk into my room and see a note from mia saying

'getting ready at aubrey's see you at the party rubes - mia xox'. i smile and put the note on my desk. i walk to my closet and look for an outfit, after a while i finally choose this outfit.

i put on the outfit and walk to my vanity. i start off by doing my hair like this-

i do natural make up but my eyes like this- 

you could say i'm trying to impress people...

i stand up and look at my phone 

8:45

wow, i took ages to get ready

i stand up, grab my phone and i go out the front of my house and wait for ethan. 

after about 15 minutes i hear someone park in the drive way. i look up and see ethan getting out of the car with his jaw dropped. i walk over to him and close his jaw. 

" hey babe" i say smirking at him.

he looks at me and says " you look.. incredible" 

i look down trying not the blush.

" so can i actually call you my girlfriend tonight?" ethan says smiling at me

"hmmm have you asked me to be?" i say smirking at him

" well i have a suprise" ethan says grabbing my hand and leading me out to the street.

i see a rose laying on the floor, then another and another leading to a park with fairylights all through the trees. as i pick up the last rose i see a sign on the tree. 

' turn around cutie x'

i turn around with the bunch of flowers in hand and see ethan holding a box

i smile and he smiles

" so, i think this is the perfect time to ask you" ethan says opening the box up to see this beautful necklace

" will you be my girlfriend" he says smiling

" of course" i say hugging him.

this is what it feels like to be so in love with someone, to trust someone so much and love someone so much that you give them your heart, and they keep in near there heart, safe and loved for.

we finish our hug and he puts the necklace on.

he leans in and i lean in and he says " it matches your eyes" 

i smile and kiss his soft, pink lips and he kisses back. i smile through our kiss. 

as we are inches apart he says "lets go to this party"

i nod and grab his hand and we walk back to his car just him and i with a bunch of roses.

" ruby!!" i hear a voice shout as i enter the party hand in hand with ethan.

i look around and see mia walking over to me with her jaw dropped 

" looks at this hottie!" she says over the music.

" says you!" i say as she twirls around.

i see her look at the necklace and look at me as i'm smiling.

" are you guys dating now?" she says smiling

ethan nods witha smile. mia jumps up and down and says " yayyyy!!!" 

" anyways mia i'll catch you later!" i say hugging her then walking with ethan to his friends.

" oh looks at this babe"

"shes hottt"

" i might steal her away"

" that ass though!" 

i hear people say as i walk with ethan through the party.

i feel ethan put his hand around my waist, i look up at him and he's lookng down at me.

" i agree with them though" he says smiling

i laugh

we make it over to all his friends

" are you guys dating?!" all his friends say 

" sure are" ethan says looking at me.

" finally man it's been what like 3 years since your last" a friend of ethans says.

i look up at him suprised "really?" i say 

" you're special" he says then kisses my lips.

i hear all his friends go "ohhhhhhh"

i feel someone tap my shoulder, i turn around and see aubrey and her friends all smiling.

" oh my gosh ruby! you look amazing!" aubrey says obviously drunk.

girls are so funny when they are drunk

" come dance with us!" aubrey says smiling

i look at Ethan and he says " go have fun". i smile at him and turn to aubrey " sure" i say then aubrey and her friends and i all dance to the loud music of the party.
