"Tessa!" i yell out as i see her walking ahead of me the the hall. she turns and smile " hey ruby" she says letting me catch up to her. "i need to talk to you so bad, you know how we are 'nobody's'?" i say to Tessa she looks at me looking confused and say back "yeah?". "Ethan Dolan was hitting on me in science" i say trying not to smile "no ruby, he is probably just running out of girls to play" tessa says sounding serious. "come on tessa do you really think he would do that?" i said looking at her "yes, he did it to imogen" tessa says then looks at imogen who is sitting by herself. imogen is quiet and doesn't have friends, i've tried to be but she would rather be by herself. her and ethan dated but then they broke up. " i feel so sorry for her" i say looking at her " same, and i don't want that to happen to you" tessa says sounding caring "okay thanks tess" i say smiling at her "well we both have a free period, do you want to go get food?" tessa says excitedly. "is that even a question?!" i say as we walk out of the school and walk to the cafe across the road. we sit down at a table and talk about crushes and girly stuff like that. "anyways enough about me, who your crush?" i say putting my chin on my palm and smirking at her. "oh um no one" she says looking out the window "tessa?" i say looking at her "mmm?" she says looking back at me "you're a horrible liar" i say laughing " okay fine i kinda have got feelings for gr-" before she says the guys name we hear someone yell "ruby!" i look around and see ethan and his 'youtube friends' all walking in the door "perfect" i whisper to tessa rolling my eyes "hi ethan" i say as he walks over to us "who's your friend?" ethan asks me with a smile "i'm tessa" tessa says quietly "hey tessa" ethan says smiling at her "anyways have i introduces you to my brother grayson?" ethan says pointing to grayson "i know who grayson is, you guys are famous remember?" i say looking at ethan "i don't like being called famous, it makes us sound arrogant" ethan says "mmm okay" tessa says giving me the eyebrow. "arrogant huh?" i say sarcastically he laughs "i'm not that arrogant" he says smiling at me. "sure" i say smiling to him "hey eth, who are your friends?" grayson say grabbing ethan's shoulder. grayson is ethan's twin brother, they do youtube together and have a really good internet platform. i'm pretty sure every single girl in my school is in love with them. "these are ruby and tessa" ethan says smiling at me. why is he always smiling at me? "very cute friends ethan but we have to go now" grayson says and walks away "i'll see you around" ethan says then walks away "did grayson just call me, i mean us cute?" tessa says smiling at me. " ohh you have a crush on gray-" i day but then cut of by her saying "shhhhhh!" i laugh and say "okay, let's get back to school"
*** "mum i'm home!" i yell out as i close the front door behind me. no one answers me. "ruby!" i hear as my sister runs out from the kitchen to greet me. "mia!" i say as we hug "did you make more friends" she asks as we stop hugging. "yeah" i say smiling " oh who?" she asks excitedly "ethan dolan" i say smiling " The ethan dolan, the famous youtuber?" she asks sounding confused "yeah he asked to be my lab partner and called me beautiful and was at the cafe and wouldn't stop smiling at me" i say remembering the whole day, " no ruby, biggest player in school. fame got to his and grayson's head." mia says as we walk into the living room why is everyone saying that about him? "i don't know them that well yet but if i do, i know i will only be friends with them nothing more" i say as mia sits on the couch "i hope so" she says looking at her phone " i'm going to take summer for a run along the beach in about 20 minutes do you want to come?" i say looking at mia . summer is my dog, well as mia says 'our dog' but i got it for my birthday last year and i love to take her to the beach. it calms me down. "no i'm going to a party" she says looking up at me from her phone. "oh whose party?" i say " i don't know some cool juniors party?" she says looking at me " why is it that you go to juniors parties and i don't even when i am a junior and you're a senior?!" i say walking away "come with me?" she say i stop walking and turn around and look at her "a- a party? no i will just take summer for a run" i say looking at her "summer can wait we are going to that party" mia says running up to me "no one will know me?" i say "then people will know you by tomorrow" she says grabbing my hand and leading me to her room. " okay step one picks an outfit" mia says pointing to her closet. mia never lets me where her clothes even though we are the same size it's just she's really protective over her clothes. " okay um can you help me?" i say looking at her " i'm glad you asked" she says walking toward her closet" she goes through it quickly and picks out this outfit and shows it to me-

"you will look amazing in this" Mia says handing me the outfit. "oh my god, thank you so much" i say hugging her. " do you want me to do your hair and makeup as well?" she says looking through her clothes " no it's alright" i say " okay i'll see you in like an hour because i'm getting ready" she say as she puts an outfit on her bed.
