It's the little things in life
Chapter 10: Replies to @_AussieTyler_
"What's all this nonsense I hear about you and Kyle?" Reece asked me just as I approached my locker.
It turned out I was right. It was indeed on the school student website and everyone was talking about it. I felt so awkward walking down the hallway to get to my locker. Everyone was looking at me and whispering some things I couldn't hear.
"Hello to you too." I bluntly said.
"Let's just skip the greetings and go back to the Kyle situation. What's going on?" She leaned against the locker crossing her arms. Her eyes giving me a side look waiting for my reply.
"It's not true." I told her. "I'm not cheating on Jordan." I had to have at least one person on my side. I didn't know why but I felt the need to convince Reece.
"I know it's not true. You're too loyal to do such a thing. Plus based on the video you didn't seem to comfortable."
"Because I wasn't. He kept playing with my hair and on top of that he called me Ray." Reece's eyes widened. She stepped away from the locker in shock.
"That's just overstepping." I agreed with her.
"Well what are you gonna do now? Does Jordan know about this?" I shrugged. I came with him this morning but he didn't seem to know anything. But him being with his friends, he'll definitely find out.
"Did you see him on your way in?" Maybe his friends told him about it. Where was he then to demand an explanation?
"Yeah, he was downstairs with some of the guys. When I passed by to greet them he didn't act strange or anything. I don't think they told him but then again Kyle wasn't there. He would've told him straight about it all."
I groaned. The sooner he knew the better. That wasn't the case because he had no clue as to what was happening with his girlfriend. Would he break up me? No, he wouldn't.
"Hey, you didn't play the song today." I noticed her empty hands.
"Lucky for you, I didn't get to charge my speaker last night. The teachers also give me looks as if they have better taste in music."
"How did you find out about it?" I was referring to the rumour that was going around.
"I got a message to look on the school's website." My mouth formed an 'o'. "Don't worry about it." She assured me.
"What's on the website? Is it just the video or are there some bonus features?" What happened last time kept me away from the website. I never logged in since the scandal.
Vee soon approached us. She had her phone in her hand vigorously scrolling through it. Without looking up she stopped right in front of us.
"People would do about just anything to get some gossip." She started to say, lifting her head. "I mean Renée cheating? That is the most unrealistic thing I've heard of." It looked like I got two people on my side. My girls always had my back and I had theirs.
"It's all Kyle's fault. First, he locks you in a closet and now he gets you labelled as a slut. What's next—"
"What?" Her eyes turned soft as she looked at me.
"You haven't checked the website, have you?" I shook my head and frantically looked through my phone to see the website.
"I don't think you should look." Reece said but I ignored her.
