Whisperflight rushed around the territory, her paws flying everywhere. Volefoot was close behind her, but he was stumbling and tripping a lot since he was bigger. Whisperflight landed neatly on the big boulder next to the lake. Volefoot panted as he jumped up next to her, sitting down and lapping at the icy water.

"Couldn't keep up?" She asked innocently, playing around with her tail.

He glared up at her, saying something she obviously couldn't hear. Whisperflight had challenged him to a race to the lake since they had finished hunting, and he had accepted. He had been beaten, too. Whisperflight hopped off of the boulder, lapping at the icy cold water.

"So you should have never challenged me!" Whisperflight claimed with a mischievous grin.

He tartly sat up and walked over to a small patch of grass and moss close to the woods. He clawed up a bundle of the moss and carried back to the lake and next to Whisperflight.

"Why do you have that? The apprentices already went out for moss earlier." Whisperflight looked confused.

She was too late when Volefootswung the moss up. It smacked her in the face, after she let out a frightened yelp. Volefoot snickered, soon bursting out into laughter. She grumpily shot him a glare and wiped the scraps off of her face.

"Ha, ha, ha, very funny." She left Volefoot by the lake and left to the camp.

Bellypaw walked along the border in the warming sunshine, heading for the lake. Mostly all of the ThunderClan was lazy due to the long sunny days, but there had to be some work. Lucky for Bellypaw, he had to check the border.  He had already finished patrolling one border, so he went down to the lake. As soon as he got to the lake, he heard small splashing sounds coming from the water.

Bellypaw narrowed his eyes to see better, and saw the back of a patched tortoiseshell she-cat. He immediately jumped into the churning black-blue water and swam towards the fur. He grabbed her scruff, lugging her back to the shore. Her fur was matted all over the place, and Bellypaw sat down next to her in thought. What would Sandpaw do?

"Skynettle? What are you doing here?" Since this cat's fur looked an awful lot like the elder Skynettle, Bellypaw assumed it was her.

"S-Skynettle?" The she-cat had woken up, but her voice wasn't raspy and dry like Skynettle's.

"Dewpaw!?" Bellypaw had heard that voice before.

What is Dewpaw doing here? She should be in RiverClan territory! Bellypaw wasn't the least bit suspicious though. He just wanted to help her at the moment. Dewpaw stumbled and tripped a bit as Bellypaw led her into the rocky area next to the lake.

"What are you doing here?" Bellypaw asked.

"RiverClan needs help from ThunderClan," Dewpaw said, her ears drooping. "It's very important."

Bellypaw nodded and led her through the woods, stopping every now and then to let Dewpaw lick her paws clean of dirt, then continued. Dewpaw gazed up at the canopies of branches blocking out most of the sun, her eyes filled with wonder.

"I wonder what it's like to live here." She said to herself, but Bellypaw could clearly hear her.

"It's fun, but I wonder what it's like in RiverClan." Bellypaw replied.

"I love it! It's so much fun, and my brother Wasppaw said that-" Dewpaw stopped talking once they arrived at the ravine, her eyes once again filled with wonder.

"Welcome to ThunderClan," Bellypaw said, and they walked into the busy crowd of ThunderClan warriors.
