Song: Winnebago - Griffin

•••

As I expected, I never got that call from Greg. However much I wanted to blame him, I couldn't since I knew that I would have done the very same thing. Besides, I knew the one person responsible for all this hubabaloo. River.

I ignored how crazy what I was doing was, and instead focused on my persuasion skills with the sixty year old man in front of me. "Come on! You've got to give me a chance of revenge," I begged him.

He folded his arms, watching me for a minute. "Well, I guess you do have a point."

Hah! Alfred was swaying. I had a chance.

I encouraged myself. "Think about how awful it would be if your daughter was made drunk as a prank. Consider the risk in today's world. It would be awful wouldn't it?" I over dramatised.

He looked at me confused.

"I don't have a daughter," he deadpanned.

Oh for god's sake. I held back a frustrated sigh. "Yeah but- But imagine if you did! It would be horrifying wouldn't it. I'm not asking for a lot, am I?"

I was.

When he didn't respond, I tried again.  How would you feel if the same thing happened to your son then?" Come on, this had to push him over.

"I don't have a son."

I felt like I was about to cry. The urge of revenge was killing me. Alfred the security guy was my only chance. I must have looked pretty stressed for a second later, he chuckled in a fatherly way, clicking at the computer.

All of a sudden, images of Vienna and him in the corridors popped up. Standing up, he held his hands in the air. "I'm going on my break for five minutes. I have absolutely no idea what happens in here. I'm definitely not allowed to tell you to fast forward to the time before closing the browser again. And I'm one hundred percent not allowed to tell you to then get your ass out from here."

With that he winked before walking out that room.

That moment I knew that I'd never love anyone as much as I loved Alfred.

I quickly grabbed my phone which I'd found dumped somewhere in my room after my alcoholic fiasco. Grinning to myself, I snapped a picture of the screen before rushing to close the camera recordings and jetting out the room. God, they couldn't keep their hands to their self. They were almost stripping at the elevator. Besides that was enough evidence.

Boy was River in for a surprise.

Later on that day, I saw him on set talking to somebody. When he saw me, he strolled forwards, a beam framed on his face.
