Chapter 14: Elie

Hayes~

It’s been a few weeks since Eliza got out of the hospital and Cameron and his girlfriend Elie  are coming down to visit for a week so this should be fun. 

Eliza and I were sitting on the couch watching TV when we hear0 a knock on the door.  “Must be Cameron and Elie, I’ll get it.”  I got up and opened the door and Cam attacked me in a bear hug, “It’s been a while, Hayes.”  I smiled and hugged him back, “Yeah and I got a surprise for you!”  His smile brightened, “What is it?”  I smiled, “Follow me.”

I led him into the living room thingy where Eliza was sitting, “Guess who that is.”  He thought for a moment, “Uh, a new girlfriend?”  I smiled, “Yeah, but this one is special.”  He stared at her for a second before he realized it.

“ELIZA?!”  She nodded and said, “Hey Cam, how have you been?”  He ran up and hugged her, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!”  “Ireland, but I’m back now.”  He smiled, “I can see that.”

Someone cleared their throat and we all turned around and saw Elie.  “Oh, hey Elie I forgot you were there,” Cam said.  “Eliza, this is my girlfriend, Elie.”  Elie smiled and waved, “hey,” Eliza waved back, “Hi!” 

Cam and I walked into the kitchen to get drinks when he whispered, “I think I’m gonna purpose to Elie tomorrow.”  I smiled, “Good for you, man!”  He shushed me, “Sh!  She doesn’t know yet!”  I chuckled and nodded as we walked back into the living room and found the girls laughing and giggling, so I guess they’re friends now.

Eliza~

Hayes and Cam went into the kitchen while Elie and I stayed out in the living room.  “So what’s up with you and Hayes?”  She asked me.  “What do you mean?”  She shrugged, “Cam told me you left for Ireland a couple years ago, you’re back now?”  I nodded, “Yeah I came back for school and we ended up as roommates.”  I shrugged and she laughed, “Most girls would say something about fate and all that, but I’m not gonna.”  I laughed, too, “That’s good for you.”  We both laughed again and talked until the boys came back.

Later we all decided to go ice skating.  I still kept falling and Hayes still had to hold onto me the whole time, which I didn’t mind at all.  After we went back to the dorm and Elie and Cam went to their hotel and Hayes and I went to sleep.

Cameron~

Today’s the day I purpose to Elie and I’m so nervous.  I texted Eliza all the details and told her to take Elie on a shopping spree and then take her to this cliff that overlooks the city and it’s really pretty.

God I’m so nervous.

Eliza~

Cam told me to take Elie on a shopping spree so he could get this cliff ready.  So I drove to their hotel and picked her up and we went to the mall. 

I hate shopping.

She better say yes…

We went around to all of her favorite stores and talked and then we went to the food court and got corndogs.  Then while she was trying on a dress Hayes texted me.

Hey when you get Elie a dress get yourself one too ;)

I was confused but I replied:

To:  Haseyboo

Ok, but why?

From: Hayeseyboo

It’s a surprise ;)  I gotta go bye

To:  Hayeseyboo

Uh bye

I sighed as Elie came out and said she didn’t like it so she changed back into her regular clothes and we both looked through the dresses.

Finally she found a white sparkly one with sleeves that went down to her elbows and down to her mid-thigh. 

I found a black sparkly strapless dress that went to my mid-thigh.

Elie got white sparkly 3 inch heels.  I got matching black sparkly heels.

We went back to my dorm and I did her makeup.  I put on foundation, concealer, and then I did a black smokey eye, coral blush, and light pink lip stain and pink lip gloss.  Then I straitened her hair and finally let her look in the mirror.  “Oh my god!! Who is that?!”  I laughed at her, “That’s you!”  She smiled and hugged me, “now it’s my turn!”  I sighed and sat in the chair as she got to work.

A little while later she let me look in the mirror and I gasped.  My makeup was natural, the way I like it.  My hair was in perfect bouncy curls and I looked gorgeous.  “Oh my god Elie!”  She smiled and I got a text from Hayes.

We’re ready, come to the cliff ;)

To: Hayeseyboo

Ok, on our way :)

We got in the car and drove to the cliff.

I wonder why Hayes wanted me there…
