October 15, Sunday
"Hello?" I stand up and look around. I have never been here before. Where am I? Where is Jacob and Steven? Seven guys sit at a table with guns, most in white wife beaters (white tank tops) showing their tattoos. They are talking about something but the voices are mumbled so I can't hear. I don't move but one of their heads snaps to look at me and I turn to run but gunfire goes off.
I scream before I can process. I roll back and forth as I feel hands on me.
"Laura!" Someone yells shaking me. I sit up on the bed. I am back in the room. My heart is beating a thousand miles per hour and I can't think. I keep looking around really quickly and shake until the person in front of my grabs the sides of my face, making me look at them. Jacob. "Its okay. What happened?"
"Just a bad dream." I say looking over and Steven sits there looking at me with an arm around me. They are both shirtless.
"Try and get some sleep." Jacob says laying me back into bed.
"Sorry for waking you." I say as he walks to the door, giving Steven a stare before leaving.
"Are you okay?" Steven asks and I nod turning to him. He grabs my waist and pulls me closer so we cuddle. I feel safe in his arms. I never want to leave. I slowly drift off the sleep in his arms.
Everything has been running smoothly...well after the two times that Steven and Jacob almost got into a fist fight. They finally stopped bitching about who gets to sleep with me and just are going every other day. I insisted on sleeping alone but they refused, like I have no opinion. Jacob had one of his friends drop food of from the grocery store so we wouldn't starve and went to our houses to get us some of our items, like clothes, tooth brushes, hair brushes, etc. I told my mom that the people who hurt her are coming back to get me and she let me stay here without a fight. She even called the school and said I was going out of state to be with a dying relative for a while. She got out of the hospital yesterday and she is okay, which is a huge relief. Everything is slowly returning to normal... well except for the fact that we aren't going to school, a gang is trying to kill us, and that I am living in a house with the two guys I love that hate each other.
"Good morning." Jacob says as I walk into the kitchen. He is still shirtless like he was a few hours ago but is wearing jeans.
"Morning" I say walking over to the coffee pot and pouring a cup. Steven stumbles in after me, also not wearing a shirt. Jacob turns to look at him and just turns back around. I mean its better then them fighting like they normally do. "What kind of movies do you want to watch today?"
"I'm kind of bored of movies." Steven says as I hand him my cup and pour myself another one. "Thanks."
"I love movies. If you want to watch one together, we can." Jacob says winking at me. He flip the eggs he is making.
"I didn't say I wouldn't watch one, I just think they are getting boring. We watch them everyday." Steven says.
"Well, I enjoy my time with her..." Jacobs says but I look at both of them.
"You guys, its too early. Can we go one day without anyone bickering please. We are all going to be here for a while so can we get over our differences?" I ask and they nod but don't loose eye contact with each other. I still don't understand why they hate ach other so much. "We can play bored games or sit on our phones in different rooms or something."
"I haven't played bored games in forever." Jacob says turning around with the pan and pouring some eggs onto the three plates. I lift myself up onto the counter with my cup in hand and lean against the wall.
