Amber's POV

Later that night when I get home, I decide to do my homework. It's about 12 AM and I start to doze off. I soon fall into a dreamless sleep. But that sleep is over because I soon hear feet stomping up my stairs.

"GIRRRLLLL", Christina yells barging into my room. I spring up from my bed startled and on the verge of peeing myself.

"What", I ask kind of irritated.

"Jack! He totally likes you", she replies jumping for joy.

"Really", I say sitting up kind of happy kind of not.

"You don't seem that happy", Christina says as she stops jumping and looks at me worriedly.

"Well ya see, I just met him. Like a few hours ago. And he's cute and all but I'm not about to date a guy I literally just met", I say.

"Hm. Yeah you're right. But I promise you, you guys will go out. He asked for your social media's for crying out loud. Literally ALL of them", says Christina happy.

"Mmhm. That's great", I say half sleep, "but if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go back to sleep." I say leaning back on my bed.

Christina sucks her teeth and rolls her eyes. She gets up and stands over me in my bed. I groan. "You know what? We're going over their house tomorrow. Corbyn and I are supposed to be going out tomorrow and you are coming with me to the boy's house", says Christina matter of factly.

"Um okay", I manage to say a little nervous because I kind of do like Jack and seeing him again is kind of what I wanted but my best friend doesn't need to know that.

Christina gets off my bed.

"Amber, I know you kind of like him", Christina says like it's obvious. "How the heck does she do that", I think.

"Mmhm", I say closing my eyes and smiling because it's true.

Christina laughs. "I'm about to go get in the shower."

I mumble an okay and then she walks out of the room. I don't know if Jack would want to date me like I'm just another person to him. A fan. I sigh then drift off to sleep.
