Amber's POV

As I lie in my bed the next morning, a lot of things are on my mind. A part of me is happy and proud that I made it into the dance company. This is what I've always wanted. But another part of me is sad being I might have to leave my friends. And Jack.

I've told my family about my situation but they are saying that I should follow my dreams. I'm just so confused.

I look over at my phone and it says 11AM. I sigh and get out of bed.

I take a shower and get ready. I put on a dark green sleeveless top, black jeans, and Adidas. I do my hair in Princess Leia buns and I put on lip gloss.

I go downstairs to make myself some cereal and when I turn around from the counter, I see Christina and Camryn standing in front of me.

I jump back a little bit. "Hey."

"Spill", Camryn says.

"Spill what", I say cluelessly and eat some of my cereal.

"Something is wrong with you. You're not yourself. You went straight to bed without a word." Christina says.

"That's not like you", Camryn concludes.

I stay silent.

They raise their eyebrows.

I sigh. "Okay. I got accepted into the International Dance Company yesterday."

They gasp.

"Really?! You should be happy! This is what you've always wanted", Christina exclaims.

"Yeah", Camryn excitedly.

"In Europe. For several months". I finish.

They stay silent.

"And I don't want to leave you guys or the boys", I say.

"Well coming from my experience, I think you should follow your dreams. But talk to Jack about it. But whatever your decision is, we support you 100%", Camryn says.

"Yeah but congratulations", Christina says while hugging me.

We decide to go to Mariah's and take pictures then we post them.

"Hey we're going to the mall. You wanna come?" Camryn asks me.

"Nah I'm good. I need to think some more", I say smiling.

They nod then leave. I go back in my house and text Jack.

Amber- hey can you come over

He texts back almost immediately.

Jack❤️-Yeah sure. Be there in ten.

Amber-ok

I go on the couch and go on my phone until Jack arrives. Soon my doorbell rings and I get up to answer it.

I open the door and see Jack there. He smiles and we hug.

"Hey", I say smiling.

"Hey", he says.

Then we let go and he walks in and I close the door. We walk to my couch and sit down.

We start talking just having regular conversations.

Then I decide to tell Jack what I need to tell him.

"So I need to tell you something", I say turning serious.

He turns to me. "What is it?" Concern taking over his face.

"So yesterday when I left the room when we were talking, I got a call. I got a call from the International Dance Company. The company that I always wanted to be apart of. They said that I've been accepted to perform with their company for several months. But I have to be in Europe in two weeks. London to be exact. If I accept, I have to leave in two weeks. I don't want to leave you, or the boys, or the others. But I also want to achieve my dream. So that's what's been bothering me", I say sighing when I finish.

Jack stays silent for a few seconds then speaks. He takes my hands and looks me in my eyes.

"Amber, I am so proud of you. You've been telling me about this ever since we've gotten close. I want what's best for you. Don't think about me or the guys or anyone else. Think about you. We'll be fine. Is this what you truly want?" He says.

I sigh. "Yes."

"Then do it. Go achieve your dreams. We'll still be here", he says smiling.

I smile and hug him.

"Thank you so much. I love you", I say while hugging him.

"I love you too", he says to me then we let go.

"You should call them back", he says to me gesturing towards my phone.

I nod and call the number back.

"Hello", Juanita's voice says.

"Hi Ms.Juanita. This is Amber Turner. I've made my decision, I've accepted", I say.

"Great. I will email you all of the details."She says.

"Thank you so much." I say excitedly.

"You're very welcome", Juanita says and she hangs up.

I turn off my phone and squeal and hug Jack as he stands up. I start jumping up and down as we're hugging.

"Thank you so much for supporting me Jack", I say hugging him.

"Anytime", he says.

A week later-

"We are here celebrating the amazing opportunity that Amber has received, to pursue her life long dream of performing with the International Dance Company", Genny announces.

We all clap.

"Amber I am so proud of you. We will miss you for the next several months, but we know that this is what you want to do", Genny says turning to me, "to Amber." She says raising her glass.

"To Amber", we all say and raise our glasses.

We start eating and laughing and talking.

"This farewell dinner was an amazing idea, Jack. Thank you", I say while taking a bite of my food.

"I know", he says.

I laugh and hold his hand.

We continue eating then go to my house to hang out and have fun.
