The Times

Amber's POV

When I wake up in the morning, i immediately start doing my schoolwork. I️ have three essays to finish.

Thank God I feel better from yesterday. Fortunately, this is my last year of college thanks to dual enrollment.

So I only have a month left of school. As I'm doing my work I think about me saying 'I love you' to Jack for the first time last night. I meant it.

I smile and finish up my last essay then turn it in.

Then I get a text from Jack:

Jacky😍-hey bb💞hope you are still feeling alright. Can you come over in about an hour so we can finish the song?

Amber- hey I'm feeling amazing thanks to you😁and yes I️ will be over there.

Jacky😍-okay see you then❤️

I put Why Don't We's EP on and I️ get in shower. I sing their songs and have a whole music video in the shower.

After my shower, I get ready and I press my hair. I put on mascara and some lip gloss.

I put on black Adidas leggings, a red crop top, and some red Jordan's. I put on my promise ring and grab my purse.

As I'm making my salad, (I actually hate salad), I call Christina. Her phone goes straight to voicemail. Then I call Camryn and I hear her voice.

"Hello?" She says.

"Hi! Camryn!" I respond happy to hear her voice.

"Haha did you think I answered? Well you're wrong. This is a voicemail! Talk to you la"- she "says".

I suck  my teeth and hang up. I quickly eat my salad then I go next door to Mariah's to get my picture taken.

"Where's Camryn and Christina?" Mariah asks as she's taking my pictures.

I pose. "I don't know. They haven't been home in days." I pose again.

Okay them not being here is really getting under my skin. I miss them.

"Okay all done", Mariah says handing me my phone. I post the pics and it's blows up.

"Thank you" I say smiling then I get in my car.

First I get gas then I head to the boy's house. When I get there the door is already unlocked so I just walk in.

"Hey guys", I say.

"Hey!" They all day as I see them in the kitchen chilling.

"Do you feel better Amber?" Daniel asks me.

"Yes I do", I say.

Then Jack walks up to me.

"Wow Amber you look great", Jack says admiring me.

"Thanks", I say looking up at him. We hug and we all walk to the studio.

"So Amber we need you and Jack to sing this part together." The producer tells me.

Jack looks at me cutely. "Are you ready bb?"

"Yeah", I say smiling and a little nervous.

"Don't be nervous", Jack says holding my hand and  helping me get up from the couch.

I nod and breathe in and out.

We put our headphones on and the track starts playing.

Jack and I start singing and it's perfect. Our voices go together perfectly and we feed off of each other's voices.
