Amber's POV
When Jack leaves the room I just sit there with my mouth open. I look at Christina. "Did he just ask that"I say surprised.
"Yeah", says Christina.
"Woo", we say at the same time. We start laughing.
"He totally likes you", says Christina. I laugh and shake my head. "You know he does", she says.
I smirk. "Maybe", I say getting up. "Can I get a drink?" I ask. "I don't freaking know. But go ahead. I'm pretty sure your boyfriend wouldn't mind", says Christina laughing.
"Haha", I say sarcastically while grabbing a water from the fridge. "What time are we going", I ask.
"I actually don't know. BAAAAEEEE", Christina yells.
"Yes", Corbyn says peeking his head from the other room.
"What time do you want to leave", asks Christina.
"Well it's 3:37 now so about 4"says Corbyn looking at his phone.
"Sounds good", says Christina and Corbyn walks away. "There you go."
I smile. My phone buzzes and I see that I got a text. A text from my older sister. It says:
Camryn- hey I'm moving to LA tomorrow. I'm staying at your place for a little bit until they're done building my house.
I laugh. And reply:
Amber- lol hey I missed you. Of course you can come.
Camryn- I missed me too. And I wasn't asking. Love you little sis
Amber- lol ok bye I'll pick you up from the airport tomorrow.
After she agrees I smile and put my phone away. Camryn always says she misses herself.
"Who was that", Christina asks as I sit back down on the couch.
"Oh that was Camryn. She's moving to LA and she's staying with me until her house is done being built" I say.
"Yay sleepover" says Christina.
Then the boys come in the room.
"Hey guys", says Logan. I gotta go do a photo shoot for my new merch. See you guys", he says walking out. "Bye", we all say. Before he closes the door he looks at Jack and mouths something. Then he leaves. Weird.
"Well are you guys ready to go"asks Jack walking over to Christina and I. The other boys are acting a little weird. "Sure", I say getting up and Christina does the same. We say bye to the other boys.
Corbyn, Jack, Christina, and I walk out of the house together leaving the others. Jack orders an Uber and the Uber is only one minute away. The boys wanted to travel on the low a little so no one would notice that they are Why Don't We. When the Uber van gets there we tell him where to take us.
We decided to just walk around LA and shop or whatever. The drive wasn't that long only about ten minutes. I sit next to Jack and Corbyn and Christina sit across from us. I look at Jack and smile. He smiles back at me.
I know I say this all the time but he is gorgeous. His smile is beautiful too. He should smile more. We stare at each other and laugh and look down. We tell each other funny jokes and stories. I really like him. He has an amazing sense of humor.
Corbyn tips the Uber and we get out of the van. Christina and I see a Sephora and instantly walk in there. We buy Fenty beauty products and face masks. I grab a few items for Camryn as well. The boys follow us around silently.
"Why do you girls like make up so much", asks Jack.
"Why do you boys like video games and sports so much", I ask.
"Because they're cool", responds Corbyn.
"Exactly", Christina and I say at the same time.
When we purchase our items we all continue walking. We go in Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, H&M, and we grab something to eat.
When we are eating we talk for a little while. We play little games. We just have a great time.
Thank God nobody spotted us all out together.
We then go to some stores so the boys can buy stuff.
After that we decide to go to the movies and see Justice League. At the ticket purchase station I get my wallet out to pay for my ticket but Jack says he has it.
"No I got it", I say smiling getting my card about to insert my chip.
"No I got it", he says putting my card back into my wallet. He quickly inserts his card into the machine and smiles at me. Christina side eyes me and smiles. I blush.
A smile that almost turns my legs into noodles. No pun intended. He holds the door open for us and we walk in. We get our seat numbers and we get in line to get snacks.
"How much was my ticket"I ask looking up at Jack. Yes I'm short. Very short.
"Fifty dollars"he responds.
"Okay",I say and I hand him my money to pay him back.
"No. It's okay Amber. Let me pay for you. My treat", he says.
Okay this guy is perfect.
I smile.
We move up in the line and its almost our turn. Christina and Corbyn are behind us.
"His treat",Christina whispers in my ear. I roll my eyes playfully.
"What do you want", Jack asks.
"Um just a water", I say.
"Are you freaking kidding me", he says looking down at me.
"No you already spent fifty dollars on me"I say.
"No I'm ordering for you", Jack says walking up to the counter when the people in front of us move. "Yes my friend here would like an extra large slushy blue raspberry flavor and white cherry. She would also like an extra large popcorn with extra butter. Plus sour punch straws", he says getting the candy and putting it on the counter.
I just stand there with my mouth open.
"Your total is $85.90"says the man getting the stuff.
Jack pays with cash and smiles at me. He grabs the stuff and we stand to the side to wait for Corbyn and Christina. "Thank you", I say. I mean that's all I can say. "But I'm not gonna eat all of that", I say.
"No problem and I know that. We'll share", he smiles at me reassuringly. I smile back. We go to the movie room and sit down. As I'm sitting next to Jack he smells super good.
I get comfortable and watch the previews.
I get a text from Christina:
Christina- he's a keeper
Amber- I know.
I smile and put my phone away.
I look at Jack and he looks at me. We smile and look at the screen to watch the movie.
