On My Way

Amber's POV

"Amber wake up", i hear familiar voice say.

I groan and open my eyes. I see Camryn standing over me on the bed.

"No," i turn to the other side and close my eyes. Then Camryn starts jumping up and down.

"Wake up! It's ten AM! Wake up! It's ten AM!" She chants laughing still jumping.

I laugh. That's the song we used to sing to each other when we were kids to wake each other up. I open my eyes and sit up.

I see that everyone is dressed except for me.

"Wow you look tired. Did you go to bed last night?" Christina says.

Camryn gets off my bed.

"Only for an hour." I say.

"What were you doing", Camryn asks crossing her arms and raising her eyebrow.

"Jack and i went out in the town", i say smiling.

"Ooohhhhhh", everybody says.

I smile and roll my eyes.

"Where did you guys go? Rob a bank?" Mariah asks laughing.

"No. We just went out to a vintage shop", i say getting out of the bed and i make it.

"Interesting. Didn't invite us", Camryn says walking away.

I giggle then i get in the shower. I get ready for the day then put on a Nike shirt, Adidas pants, and some sneakers.

"What time are we driving back to our side of town?" I ask walking out of the bathroom.

"Now", Jack says walking in through the sliding doors and opening his arms to me. I hug him.

"Well let's go", Christina says grabbing her things.

I let go of Jack and get my things.

We all get in our cars and decide to get iHop before we get on the road.

We all walk in and luckily there is no wait so we are able to sit down right away.

The waitress guides us to a large table and we sit down. I sit next to Jack and Corbyn sits next to me and Christina sits next to Corbyn. And so forth.

I look at the menu and yawn.

"Look who's tired", Jack says smiling at me.

I nod.

"Not gonna lie i am too", Jack says. I give him an apologetic smile.

"It's okay. I had fun", he says laughing and squeezing my hand.

I smile. "Me too."

"Hi my name is Renee and I'll be serving you guys today. Can i start you off with some drinks?" The waitress Renee asks walking up to us.

I order a water and the rest order other drinks.

Then we are ready to order and i order cupcake pancakes and hash browns. (In real life that's actually my iHop order lol.)

"Are you really about to eat that?" Jack asks me when im done saying my grace and the food is in front of me.

"Yup", i say laughing while cutting my pancakes.

He keeps staring at the pancakes.

I stop cutting my pancakes. "You want some don't you," i ask laughing and looking at him.
