Birthday Surprise

Amber's POV

"Move it closer to the left! No, the right," I exclaim to Zach as he's putting up the decor, "there! Perfect."

I nod in approval and check off decorations on my clipboard.

"Okay, I got the cups. I had to wrestle this woman over it since it was the last one, but I got it," Camryn says setting the cups on the counter.

I laugh. "Thanks, Cam."

I look around the room and smile. Everything is set up nicely and exactly how I wanted it.

"Thank you guys so much, this party is going to be amazing," I say to everyone, which is a lot of people.

"Glad we could help," Jonah says.

We hear a car outside and Christina rushes to the window to look out. "It's Daniel and Jack!"

We all scramble around and find places to hide. Zach turns off the light before hiding; and in a few seconds the door opens.

"SURPRISE," we all yell once the lights turn on.

Jack looks around and smiles.

"Happy birthday," we all say to him.

Corbyn pops the confetti and everyone cheers.

I go up to Jack and hug him. "Happy birthday."

"Thank you, Amber," he says then we let go.

He looks at me and smiles. I lean in and kiss him and blush once we let go.

We all celebrate, dancing and playing games.

While everyone is dancing, Jack and I go outside and sit on the couch.

"Thank you so much for this, Amber. I love you," Jack says as I'm leaning on him.

I look up at him and smile. "You're welcome. I love you more."

He smiles at me and I smile at him, getting lost in each other's eyes.

Then Zach comes outside running and screaming with Daniel following him recording him. Everyone else comes outside and watches as Zach jumps into the pool with his clothes still on.

They cheer and the cheering gets louder as Daniel jumps in. Followed by Corbyn and Jonah.

"I have to," Jack says turning to me.

"No," I say.

"Yes," he gets up.

"Please no," I say.

He runs away and jumps in the pool. I face palm myself and walk to the pool.

"Really," I laugh as Jack is getting out of the pool.

"Wow, Corbyn," Christina says.

"Seriously Jonah," Camryn says.

Jack opens his arms and smirks.

"NOOOOOOOO," I yell running away and he chases me and grabs me and spins me around.

Jack throws me into the pool and he jumps in after me. I surface and everyone is cheering along with Jack. I roll my eyes at him and smile.

Why do I love him so much?
