I am a die hard fan of Ahad Raza Mir and his character Dr. Asfandyar. I love the chemistry between Asfi and Zubia. I feel the element of love and chemistry could have been expanded in the serial and hence I am writing this f...
"Kya bataun Asfi ?" Geti sighed and seated herself on the couch and Asfand followed and sat in front of her.
Asfand gives her confused expressions and hopes
that she isn't going to say something which he prayed would be not true the whole day but, alas he had to hear the bitter truth.
"Mai nahi janti thi Asfi, ke uss masoom ki piche itna bada gham chupa hua hai" she pauses and looks at Asfand as tears start rolling down her eyes and he is staggered.

"Uske baap ke haath uski maa ki khatal hui hai" as she says these words, Asfand feels like a mountain of sadness just broke over his head.
"Choti si umar mei, usne itna bada haatsa apne aankhon ke samne hote hua dekha hai, aur woh jo humare saamne bahar se itna strong banti hai na... andar se utni hi kamzoor hai"

Geti tells him how Zubia's mother had to bear the brunt of her father's anger. She tells him how Zubia took her mom shopping and how that made her father lose his mind.
"Woh apne aap ko blame karti hai, ki agar usne zidd nahi ki hoti to uski maa uske saath hoti.."
"Uske baba ko ehsaas hua unke gunah ka lekin bohot der se..." she says about how her father was bed ridden during his last days and how he wept for Zubia's forgiveness.
Listening to this Asfand has slight tears but, he doesn't let them fall off his eyes. It reminds him of the time his brother was killed unjustly. How he had to bear the burden of a broken society. But he doesn't know what to say or how to help Zubia come out of that trauma. He at least had a family when he went through that pain but she doesn't have any... he tries to imagine what she must have gone through... the heartbreak... the helplessness... the misery and the trauma of losing her mother...
"Asfi.." Geti's words break his thoughts. "Tumse ek baat baat puchu?" she asks.
He simply nods his head in a yes.
"Kya tum Zubia ko pasand karte ho?" she asks him finally.
And he gives her a blank look, a little surprised and a little shocked as to how she knows considering he has managed very well to hide his feelings.
