First day > Chapter 14

**Annie's POV**

When I woke up there was an amazing smell in the air.. EGGOS?

I walk into the kitchen to see what was happening.. Kenzie and Jacob lughing, sitting on the table making waffles.

"Didn't we have waffles last night I said breaking down in laughter. "We're still in the mood for waffles though.." Jacob said.. It was awkwardly silent until Mark came into the room.

"Hey Kenzie, hey JJ and hey Ann" Mark said. He had nicknames for us. He always calls Kenzie "Love" then Winks.. Wait.. Does mark like Kenzie? No I'm sure he doesn't.. I hope he doesn't.. I mean Hayden likes her a lot..

"So what are we doing today?" Mark says as he sit next to Kenzie. I low-key glare at him.. He didn't see it though.. I don't want Hayden's heart to be broken.. He means the world to me. Even if he doesn't like me back.. I have to find out about him..

"We are going to school.. Remember?" kenzie says. "Oh shoot I forgot! We have to get ready!!" Jacob yells from the stove. We hurry up making the waffles, we call everyone into the kitchen to eat. We hurry and everyone says goodbye then leaves.. Everyone but Brandon..

***Brandon's POV***

"Hey Kenz?" I say slowly walking towards her. "Oh hey Brando, what's up" she says while putting the butter away. "You know you don't have to go to school, I mean after everything that's happened.." I say trying not to upset her. "Hey, B I'm fine.. I have amazing friends to help me get past everything" she says smiling. I put my hand on hers, we smile and hugged, I wave goodbye before leaving to get ready. When i get to my house I see my Halloween costume on my bed.. I totally forgot it was this week! I was going as a frog. Its odd but I like it. I just finished brushing out my hair just as the bus honked. I jumped a bit. I ran outside and hopped on the bus. I see Kenzie, Brynn, Mark and Jacob already on the bus. We stop at a few more houses picking up a few more friend and we finally make it to school. Laruen said Johnny got a ride from "dad" to school. When we get to school, the group walks in Kenzie leading us down the hall until we stop and see...
