Moving On > Chapter 2

Jacob takes me to his house and I start crying in his arms, he strokes my hair trying to calm me down. "HE CHEATED ON ME!!" I yell crying even harder, "I know, I would love to give him a piece of my mine" he says tightening his jaw.

He calmed me down a little, "I'll be right back" he says putting a blanket over me and went into the kitchen. When he came back he had two mugs of hot chocolate, he turned on a movie trying to take my mind off things.

I could feel he looking at me every so often, I didn't really mind. Then I realized school starts next week. "He's going to be at school" I said out of no where. "What? Who?" he said confused "Johnny" my voice cracked. "Its ok I'll be there with you" he started hugging me. I'm so glad to have someone like him to help me when times get hard.

"I have to tell the others about the break up.." I looked down. "Can I help?" he asked "can you text the guys?" I didn't feel like talking to them. I was going to text Brynn.

<Text convo>

K: Brynn?

B: OMG KENZIE U DID SO GOOD!!

K: Thanks..

B: what's wrong?!

K: Johnny and I broke up.. He cheated on me..

B: OMG JUST WAIT UNTIL I SEE HIM HE WILL WISH HE WAS NEVER BORN!!!

K: No.. I'm fine..

B: Do you want me to come over?

K: No. Its fine I'm with Jacob rn watching a movie trying to take my mind off things.. He's texting the guys telling them what happened..

B: He's a great guy

K: Yeah.. That he is...

B: What's wrong?

K: Nothing... Anyways I gtg ttyl

B: ttyl

I told the rest of the girls, Lauren was really mad at Johnny. She is no longer speaking to him. I had to admit I didn't feel bad for him, not after what he put me through.

Jacob came back after texting the guys. "Hayden is SUPER angry at Johnny and is on his way over here right now" he said turning off his phone. "Thanks Jacob" I said weakly.

15 minutes pass

The door flings open. Its Hayden. He hugs me tight. I can't help but cry, "shh, shh." his voice is calming. He finally lets go of me, I wipe my tears away. A few minutes later my phone buzzes. Its Johnny.. Who's that?" Jacob and Hayden both say. "Um.. I-It's Johnny.." I try not to cry. "Don't answer" Hayden cuts in. I put my phone down, they hug me.

After 2 hours Hayden finally leaves.

I start dozing off, I look up at the clock on the wall. Its 1:38 AM. "Good night Kenz" he says in a soft voice. "Night Jacob" I fall asleep.

Wow.. Jacob and Hayden seem to really like Kenzie.. But in what way? Will Johnny Apologize? Better find out tomorrow! (Its almost 2 am otherwise I would post again)
