The Break Up > Chapter 1

···Mackenzie's POV···

I woke up early today, it was the last day of the Day and Night tour.

I changed out of my PJs and into my black and white striped shirt, my ripped jeans and my white VANS.

My hair was slicked back into a high ponytail. I did my makeup, it was a natural look.

I made my bed and ran downstairs for breakfasts. It smelled like heaven.. Eggs and bacon.

I saw sister Maddie. She was halfway done with her food.

"Hey Maddie. Hey mom" I said as I pulled out a chair and sat down in it.

"Hey Kenzie" they said at the same time.  We all laughed.  "So.. Kenz. Last day on tour eh?" Maddie said filling her face with Bacon.  "Ugh yeah. It's the last day I get to see Johnny and Lauren before they leave for Canada. Unless they can convince Mer to let them stay." I said as my mom puts my food in front of me.  Maddie laughs  "Good luck with that, She will never let them stay longer then they have to." I nod my head in agreement.

"I'm really going to miss my best friend and my boyfriend." I let out a sigh.  My mom puts her hand on my shoulder, I look up at her and forced smile.

I finish breakfast and put my dishes in the dishwasher.

"Ok Kenzie you ready to go yet? You have to be there in 45 minutes" my mom asked me.  "Yeah, let me just go get my phone" I yell already halfway up the stairs. "Ok hurry!" she yells back.

I grab my phone and see Jacob texted me.

<Text convo ~ K: Kenzie J: Jacob>

J: Hey Kenz.

K: Hey Jacob.

J: I'm coming to watch you and johnny's LAST tour 😞

K: I'm glad you're coming but I'm still really bummed its the last tour 😥

J: It better be a great ending to a great tour!

K: Trust me it is!

J: Can't wait!

K: Anyways I have to go or I'll be late!

J: Ok bye Kenz cya

K: Bye Jacob cya soon.

<End of convo>

I run downstairs and stop when I reach the front door.  I took a brief pause before I opened the door. I was thinking about this might be the last time I get to see Johnny and Lauren until Summer.

I quickly shook that thought out of my head. And hopped into the car.

"You ready for this?" my mom asked.  "As ready as I'll ever be" I said, my mom just smiled and started driving.

I just sat there scrolling through Instagram the whole car ride.  The car stopped "we're here" my mom said.  I grabbed my stuff and hopped out of the car. I said goodbye to my mom and she returned it.

I walked up to the door I had barely opened it before Lauren burst out the door almost knocking me over, "KENZIEEEE!!!!" she grabbed me before I fell pulling me into a deep hug, Johnny playfully pushed her out of the way, she huffed then started to laugh. Johnny hugged and and gave me a little kiss on the cheek "you ready for tonight?" he said releasing me from out hug. "Yeah, I am.. Dreading it to be honest.. This might be the last time I get to see you guys till next summer.." I said looking at the ground. "Oh no no no! Our mom said we can go to school here!" Lauren said jumping up and down. "Wait, REALLY?!?" I grabbed her hand calming her down "yeah" Johnny said smiling.

We get ready for the last performance. I took one last drink of water before walking on stage, the crowd went wild. I saw Jacob in the VIP area. Waving at me, I waved back, of course he was able to get a VIP ticket. His parents donated a huge sum of money to the Day and Night tour.

I saw Brynn, Hayden, Brandon, Annie,  Nadia and Mark in the crowd. The performance went on for 2 more hours.

I got off stage waving to the fans, Johnny went off stage almost 30 minutes ago. I looked back out at my friends.. But Nadia was gone.. I saw Jacob leaving the VIP area to congratulate me. I got ready to leave and walked out onto the back ally and saw..

Johnny hanging over Nadia flirting with her, she was giggling. I just stood there with my hand over my mouth trying not to make a sound, I saw Johnny leaning in for a kiss, I let out a quick sob. He jerked his head towards me and leaped away from Nadia. "Its over" I yelled sobbing. I looked back about to run away from my problems when I say Jacob. I realized he saw the whole thing, he opened his armed to me I ran to him and he hugged me and we walked away, Johnny was running and calling after me. I didn't care. I was hurt. I broke up with him, and now he's going to my school.

Wow I can't believe Johnny did that to Kenzie! Good thing Jacob was there to comfort her. Much more on its way! (BTW THIS IS MY FIRST FANFIC SO PLEASE NO HATE I'M TRYING TO GET BETTER)
