Movie Night > Chapter 4

···Mackenzie's POV···

When we get to Mark's house he asks what movie we want to watch.

"HARRY POTTER!!" Brynn yells. "We would have to watch all the movies and that would take too long" Brandon say, Brynn squinted and folds her arms. "What about Star Wars?!" Lauren and Mark yell. "That has 8 movies" Hayden says. "Lord Of The Rings?" Jacob asks. "I think that will be ok" Annie says. The movie starts, I grab the popcorn bowl and start eating from it. "Psst, pass the popcorn" Brandon whispers, "shh!" Hayden yells and throws some popcorn at him. Brandon brushes off his head. We all quiet down and watch the movie.

We made it to the end of the second movie before I got up to use the bathroom. I took my phone with me.

I got a text from Johnny.

<Text convo>

J: Kenzie can I please explain?

K: It's Mackenzie to you. And there's nothing to explain.. You cheated on me..

J: I know and I'm sorry! I was being stupid!

K: Yeah.. Very stupid.

J: Can we talk about this?

K: No. I have to go the movie is starting.

J: No Kenz wait.

K: Bye Johnny

<end of convo>

I walk back to the gourp and sit down next to Mark and Brynn. We watch the movie. By the end of it Annie, Brandon, Lauren And Brynn are asleep. My eyes start to close.

The next morning I woke up with a blanket over me and I was snuggling Mark! I quickly but gently pull away trying not to wake him up. Jacob and Hayden are already awake on their phones. Hayden is posting photos of last night on Instagram. Jacob was on Snapchat posting pictures of everyone sleeping when he realizes I awake.

"Oh you're awake" he says patting the ground next to him, so I sit. He takes a selfie of us with the dog filter and the caption says "early morning's with this one❤" he posts it to his story. "What time is it" I ask "6:30am" Hayden replies. "Oh, no wonder I'm so tired" they laugh.

We wait 30 more minutes before Mark and Annie wake up. We all sit there on our phone for the next hour before everyone wakes up. We make pancakes and take a bunch of Snapchats.

···Johnny's POV···

I woke up and my phone went off like crazy, it was Snapchat. I check Jacob's Story. After when seemed like forever watching videos of him zooming in on everyone's sleeping faces. I finally come across a pic of him and Kenzie. "Early mornings with this one❤" my heart sunk "❤" has Mackenzie moved on already? I messed up.
