.:Josh's POV:.
It's Monday now and I'm on the bus going back to school. I really am not ready to tell my dad that I'm gay, but mama is going to for me. I still have that pit of dread in my stomach from Friday night, I really hope Tyler didn't tell the school I was gay.
Soon the bus pulled up to my high school doors and we all piled out. Once out I went inside to go do some extra work in my math class. On the way the I bumped into Brendon.
   "Sorry!" I yelped. He laughed.
"Not to worry about it, it's okay." He held out one hand, "We never properly met. I'm Brendon Urie." I shook his hand shyly.
"Joshua Dun." I said looking around the hallway, "What are you inside for?"
"Detention." He smiled, letting go of my hand, "You?"
"For extra work." I looked down at my books and straightened them out.
"Why the hell would you want extra work?" He laughed again, raising one eyebrow, "That makes no sense to me."
I shrugged, "I get bored in class. So I just work on that." I don't really do that. I doodle in my notebook, but I didn't want to tell him because he would probably think it was childish.
He glanced down at my full hands, "Here, let me take some of those for you." He reached out and took three of my seven books.
"Oh uh thank you." I said, flustered.
He shrugged, "I'll go to the class with you, that's where my detention is at anyway." I smiled sheepishly and followed him down the hallways.
Once we got in there the teacher was a bit shocked to see us arrive together, "Good morning Mr. Dun, and Mr. Urie." She said kindly.
"Good morning, Mrs. Kindley." We both said and sat down. Brendon set my books beneath my seat. I smiled at him and got up to talk to the teacher about the work.
"More work I suppose?" She smiled at her student from behind her desk, already looking for the work to give me.
     I nodded and smiled, "Yep!"
"I'm glad to see at least one student gets ahead of the class." She said as she handed me a stack of papers.
I nodded again and sat back down, already getting right to work on the first page.
Brendon stared at the pile in mild terror and shock, "Its so much! You sure you can get that all done?"  I nodded, rolling my eyes.
"Mhmm. It's not that hard." I looked up to see the raven haired boy looking outside of the door, making weird faces.
I turned to see Tyler there in the doorway, an angry look on him face, "Hi, Tyler!" I said and waved happily.
He walked over and sat on the other side of me, "Hi Joshua." He smiled.
"What are you doing in here?" I asked.
"Detention." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "It's all Brendon's fault though. If he hadn't thrown that ball of paper at my head, we would have been fine." He glared at Brendon, but in a friendlier way.
"Ohh. Is that why you looked so mad before?" He shrugged.
"Sure. We will go with that." He took out a book about basketball and started reading, Brendon did the same.
45 minutes later Mrs. Kindley released us to our classes. I had my next few classes with Brendon so we walked with each other until lunch, because then I sat at my own table on my own.
When I started to eat my orange toe more trays plopped down on the table in front of my. I looked up to see two familiar faces, along with five other faces.
Tyler sat next to me on one side, Brendon on the other.
     "Hi!" I said cheerfully.
     "Hey." Tyler said back.
     "What's up?" Brendon asked.
"The Sky." I giggled. Tyler laughed at my joke and gave me a high five. I smiled at him.
      "Good one." Brendon smiled.
"Oh. Joshua, I'd like you to meet Patrick, Pete, Gerard, Frank, and Dallon." He pointed at all of his friends as he spoke their names, they all said hello and I waved back. Not as eager, but still friendly.
We all had a fun time during lunch. We joked and laughed, and got yelled at by the lunch ladies a few times. But it was the most fun I had had in a while.
We all said good bye to each other before parting ways, I had my last three classes with Tyler so we went to the classes together, our hands touched ever so often.
After school I said goodbye to Brendon and Tyler and walked over to my bus. I completely forgot that mama had probably told dad that I was gay, but that's because I was remembering all of the fun I had today.
The bus ride took longer than it usually was because we got a flat tire. But I it's listened to music the whole time and fell asleep maybe once or twice.
But when we pulled up onto my street, that dread returned and I hesitantly got off of my bus and ran to my house.
My hands fumbled with my house key but I got the right one and unlocked the door. I shut it behind me and took off my shoes before I heard it.
     "JOSHUA WILLIAM DUN!"

A/N Hey! So, about my posting schedule. I was thinking that I could either post three days a week, and have the chapters longer. Or, I could post everyday but have shorter chapters. Let me know which one you would like better. But I'll try to post all week this week. I hope you liked this chapter!
