I️ wake up the next morning to the smell of waffles and bacon. I️ jump out of bed, excited for the food and water park and I️ practically run down stairs. Jake was standing at the stove shirtless, cooking bacon and have waffles and fruit set up on the table along with some orange juice. I️ don't think he heard me come in so I️ snuck up behind him and wrap my arms around his waist, hugging him. This is what I️ want to wake up to every morning I️ thought and he turned around and kissed my forehead.
"Thought we should eat a good breakfast today since we have a big day." He says and I️ start digging into the food, Jake wasn't too far behind me either.
After we scarfed down his delicious food, we grabbed our bags and made our way to Jake's and got into his vehicle since we would be following the bus.
We followed the bus from the school and the way to the water park. Even though it was only an hour away, I️Ve never been. The car ride consisted of road trip games, terrible singing, and lots of laughing. No one has ever made me this happy before. Happy enough to laugh without fear.
Jake and I hop out and head to the changing rooms to put on our swim wear. I️ came out and earned a couple of cat calls from a group of guys walking past. Jake heard and he walked over to me and wraps his arms around me. I️ smile and kiss him, then we heard another whistle but when we turned around, we saw Zeke.
"Zeke?!? How did you get here?" I️ ask and Jake had the same question.
"I️ didn't come with the school, obviously since I️ graduated last year, but I️ heard about the trip and bought a ticket to come and maybe even spend time with Amanda" he says shyly. I️ wink at him and give him a thumbs up. I️ see Amanda waking so I️ call her over to hang out with Zeke. Her face flushes red and they walked off together. They HAVE to get together, I told Jake and he nodded in agreement.
Jake and I️ decide to go to the biggest slide here, especially since the line was unusually short. We basically only waited in line for 5 minutes. To get to the entrance of the slide, we had to go up several flights of stairs and we were up pretty high. REALLY high and Jake must have sensed my nervousness because he wrapped his arms around my waist and makes conversation to get my mind off it.
"So princess, are you having fun?" He asks me and I️ laugh because we haven't even been on our first ride. I️ think he realized his question and his face turned red. I️ wrap my hands around his waist and look up at him.
"Even though we haven't even been on our first ride yet, yes, I️ am having fun. I️ always have fun with you." I️ almost cringe at how cliché I️ sounded but it was true. Our little 'moment' was interrupted when the slide attendant yelled 'next' and it was our turn. The tube the we sat on was a double person. One in back, one in front. I️ sat in the front and Jake sat behind me. The cool water was rushing underneath us, waiting to push us down once the attendant moves her leg from stopping us. She began her little 'speech' I️m sure she has to say 1000 time a day.
"Please remain in the tube at all time, hold on with both hands and enjoy your ride." She says in a preppy voice and smile and she moves her leg, allowing the water to push us down. It was pitch black but there were little holes carved out on the sides of the slide, making faces from
The light shining through and it was pretty cool. I️ was distracted by the faces when I️ felt a sudden drop and turn and I️ screamed. Jake immediately wrapped his arms around my waist and held me. I️ was scared but I️ remembered what the attendant said about 'hold on with both hands'.
"Jake!" I️ screamed. "Hold on! Both hands!!!" I️ screamed.
"I️ am holding on! To you!" And right after he said that, we exited the slide and into the big pool at the end. We flipped over and tumbled over and over under water until Jake finally pulled me up.
"Oh my gosh! Princess!! Are you okay?" He hollers and I️ just push my now mop of my hair out of my face and laugh.
"Let's do it again!" I️ yell and he laughs and picks me up to carry my back to the slide.
We ended up riding the slide 11 times along with some others and some food. Dark came and we decided to go home. We walk out to Jake's car after drying off and changing into dry clothes. Jake got in and starts the car when I️ sit in the passenger side. I️ look at the clock in the radio and it said 9:14. I️ was surprised we stayed so late. Most of the school left around 6 but we didn't have to. I️ turned on the heat in his car because my wet hair was making me cold and Jake was too considering his goose bumps and shivering. I️ turn it on high and snuggle into the hoodie Jake lent me.
Jake's P.O.V.
I️ look over and see Brianne snuggled into my hoodie I️ gave her. I️ could tell she was really sleepy because her eyes keep drooping shut. I️ adored her. She is so beautiful and she is MINE. the thought that she even wanted to be mine after all I️ put her through amazed me. It amazed me how she could just forgive anyone. She even forgave Scott for cheating on her. That's one thing I️ loved about her. How she could forgive anyone and was so kind hearted.
I️ don't know what I'd do without her. I'd fall apart if it weren't for her. I️ hope I️ don't lose her after high school.
