I️ wake up the next morning and I️ get ready for school. When I️ woke up, I️ saw it was raining so I️ tied my hair into a messy bun and slid on grey under armor sweats and a black v neck with a black under armor hoodie over top and slid on my black Nike's. I️ grabbed all my stuff and headed over to Jake's house. It was now a normal routine for him to take me to school and home. Why not? He lived right there, what's the point of walking?
I️ meet Jake at the end of his drive way and hop in. "Glad to see you've dressed up." Jake says smiling at my poorly dressed self. I️ punch his shoulder and he rolls his eyes, driving off to school.
We arrive and the day went by pretty normal. I️ come home and Jake comes over as well. He's seemed really jittery lately and I️ don't know why but my curiosity was getting the best of me.
"Hey Jake....what's wrong?" I️ ask wearily of his response.
He takes a deep breath as if he's gaining courage to tell me something.
He sighs and grabs my hands. I️ sit down on the bed and he bends down on his knees in front of me, looking dead in my eyes.
"Brianne. I've loved you....for a long time okay, princess? I️ don't ever want you to forget that. I️ love you more than I️ ever thought was possible. You make my day. You could be wearing baggy sweats and I️ would still find you most the beautiful girl I've ever layed eyes on. My whole world revolves around YOU Brianne. I️ need you in my life. Those years I️ messed up, left you when you loved me, that's when I️ realized my true feelings for you. Every day was a struggle. I️ didn't feel the need to get up in the mornings because you wouldn't be there. I️ need you in my life Brianne and I️ was wondering....would you do the honors of being my girlfriend?"
I️ was at a loss of words so I️ just jumped up and hugged him. Of course I️ wanted to be his girlfriend! I've loved him since I️ told him. Feelings may have died down a little for some time but I️ knew I️ still loved him because his name hurt me when someone said it. Jake pulled away from ur hug and brushed my hair away from my face. His head was leaning on my forehead and he was looking into my eyes. I️ saw his eyes glance down to my lips and he leaned in. I️ closed my eyes and took a breath, then he took it away.
Jake kissed me. His soft lips move rhythmically against mine. I've wanted this from him for so long and now I️ finally go it. He kissed me passionately for several seconds, although it felt like time stopped in the moment. We pull apart breathing heavily. Although it was a short, simple kiss, he took my breath away and I️ couldn't stop smiling.
Jake and I️ spent the rest of our day going for a walk and come to my house and went to bed. He held me closer and tighter than he ever has before, as if he was scared to let go.
