it's Friday night when Grayson decided to play Nerve. it was an up and coming game that everyone was bubbling about, Grayson wasn't going to do it until his brother, Ethan dared that he would last the longest. but really, who would last the longest?
I laid on Ethan's bed watching TV. Well, flipping channels until I got onto something interesting — I has found one yet. Ethan, on the other hand, was in the middle of watching educational youtube videos. Every once in a while, his eyes would train on the TV before quickly concentrating on his computer screen.
"Are you gonna spend your day watching Youtube videos?" I asked as I changed the channel, once again. I sighed in annoyance, tugging the roots of my highlighted hair.
"Are you going to spend your whole day switching channels?" Ethan remarked. "Dude, just pick one!"
I groaned and threw the remote behind me. I was bored out of my mind and there being nothing on TV just made it worse. I wanted to hang out with a couple of friends but I knew Derek and them would just want to get drunk.
"Wanna hang out instead?" I requested.
"I thought we were already hanging out."
"I meant out of the house." I snapped. "You can even invite Maisie and I'll invite Avian."
"Who's 'Avian'?" Ethan asked as he grabbed the keys from his nightstand.
"Ava's real name, she goes by Ava because she thinks Avian is too boyish of a name." I revealed. I knew once Ava took wind of me telling people her real name, I was going to ... get it.
"Like Bailey." Ethan joked as he put on his brown rimmed glasses. "How do I look?"
"Like a nerd." I complimented. Ethan groaned and playfully pushed me. Which only caused me to start giggling.
"Screw you, I look great." He scoffed as he adjusted more into the brim of his nose. "Vámonos! Let's go!"
"When did you learn spanish?" I pointed out. I grabbed one of Ethan's beanies and followed him into the car.
"When I wasn't dozing off in class." Ethan sneered as he turn the ignition of his car. He blowed onto his hands, trying to warm them. "Man, it's so cold!"
I rolled my eyes as I turned on the heater and adjusted it until it was warm. I watched Ethan frantically shook his hand on the blower.
"Text Ava and Maisie to meet us at the cave we used to hide out in when we were younger." Ethan commanded.
I nodded and took out my phone. I made a group chat with Ava, Maisie and decided to add Ethan as well. I sent a direction into the group chat and told them to meet us there.
