I lay down on my bed waiting for my mom to go to bed. I don’t want to shut my eyes in fear that I’ll fall asleep. I decide to take a shower, because who knows how long it will be until I take on again.
“ You know I’ve always got your back girl so let me be the one you come running’ to running’ to r-r-running’, I said it’s just matter of fact girl that you just call my name I’ll be coming’ through coming’ through I’ll get coming” I sing Liam’s part of Everything About You. I hop out after washing my hair and body. I run through my hair with my fingers (since my brush is packed) and put it in a high ponytail. I can hear my mom’s light snores next door and know she’s asleep. I tiptoe back to my room and grab my suitcase, phone, and Ipod. I put the note on the kitchen counter and grab some bananas. Then I see my mom’s purse sitting on the counter. I know I shouldn’t steal, but could I just borrow? I have to! I can’t starve! I add a section to my note.
P.S. I kinda borrowed your debit card… I really hope you don’t mind. I’ll pay you back EVERY cent. Love Callie
I put the debit card in my purse. I head out the door into the night. I hop into my car and start the engine. Before I know where I’m going I’m at the airport. I walk in. Up at the ticket counter I look at the flights. Paris, Italy, Rome! Then one flight catches my eye. London. I ask the lady at the front desk how much.
“800 dollars.” She says flatly. 800 dollars is a lot of money. I whip out my mom’s debit card.
“One please.” I say. I just did that. I booked a flight to England. By myself. This is so exciting. My flight doesn’t leave for 4 hours so I find a seat in the little waiting area. I put my things down and my eyes flutter shut. I am awakened by a pair of stunning green eyes.
“Come on Love, You’re gonna miss your plane.” Leaning over me was a boy that I knew from listening to his voice every day. Leaning over me was Harry Styles.
