Chapter 15

The interviewer stares at Harry. She stutters.

“S-so you’re saying that she’s your… girlfriend?”

“Yup.” Harry nods.

“For how long?” She asks.

“Umm, What time is it Niall?’ He asks. Niall pulls out his phone.

“6:00.” He replies

“Four hours.” Harry says. The interviewer just stares.

“Why doesn’t she come over here?” She smirks. Harry motions to me with his hand. I skip over and sit on his lap.

“Hi everyone!” I say into the microphone. The interviewer scowls.

“So Callie,” She starts. “Why don’t you tell us a little bit about yourself.”

“What to say.” I start. “My name is Callie Edwards, I’m 18 years old, from Colorado, and I love puppies.” Where on earth did the puppies come from? I don’t know I’m really nervous right now.

“Well then.” She says. “Okay, Zayn the next question is for you.” Harry kisses my cheek. I giggle and playfully smack him. He dives in for a kiss full on the lips. I accept and I lose myself.

“AAH! IT BURNS IT BURNS!” Louis yells right into the microphone. I giggle and we stop kissing.

 “Give him a break Lou.” Says Niall. “He hardly ever gets to kiss anyone.” Now I’m laughing hysterically. The interviewer lady does not look very pleased with how this interview is going. Finally after a long time of being bored and getting dirty looks from the interviewer, the boys are done and we can go back to the hotel. We walk through the hallways and finally get to the front door. Before we push it open we realize we have a huge problem. Standing outside are about 600 screaming girls. A lot are holding ‘I heart Carrie’ posters. Harry whips out his phone and puts it on speaker.

“Paul, we have a bit of a problem.” He says.

“Already on it.” He says as he hangs up. Wow. Eleven words. Must be a record.

“We’re gonna have to make a run for it.” Says Harry. We all exchange phone numbers in case we get separated. I’m surprised I don’t already have their numbers, but I’ve been busy. I see the limo pull up and police officers push the crowd back. Harry takes my hand. Louis pushes open the door We all make a mad dash to the car. People are shouting. Again I ignore the hate. We get into the car and start to drive to the hotel.

 Once we get there I am exhausted.

“Come on, you have to pack.” Says Niall when we get back.

“What? You guys are leaving me?” I ask.

“Oops I forgot to tell her!”  Harry says. “Callie you’re coming to Australia with us and our flight leaves in 4 hours. LET’S HUSTLE!” I quickly scurry into my room grabbing all of my clothes and underwear from the floor. After all of my clothes are picked up I grab some jeans and a sweatshirt.  I put my dress neatly into my suitcase and put my hair in a ponytail. Wow that took an hour and a half. I run into the boy’s room and they are all ready. We make our way down to the lobby and thankfully there are no screaming fans. Out the door, into the car, and to the airport we go. We rush to get our bags checked and Then we wait in line to show our passports. We only have two hours until our plane leaves. The girl manning the passport station looks up and recognition crosses her face. She opens her mouth to scream and Liam slas his hand into her lips.

“Please be quiet! We don’t want a mob.” He hisses, handing her his passport. She nods. I’m in line behind Eleanor and Danielle. They all go through and I hand my passport over. She looks up at me and her face lights up.

“You’re Callie?” She asks.

“Yup.” I reply.

“Are you and Harry really dating?” She asks. I nod and she hands me back my passport. I run to catch up with everyone. When we finally are done being checked thoroughly, we sit down in the waiting area. It was an area just like this that Harry and I met.

“flight 4 to Australia, first class now boarding.” The voice crackles over the intercom. We all get up. Harry takes my suitcase from me and we make our way to the plane.
