She ran inside, running to her room and immediately scanning every single inch of her room.
Where is it, where is it?
She opened her drawer, searching around then slamming it shut. She checked under her bed and under her sheets. Nothing.
It was morning, the Sun peeking through the window with a fiery red and orange as the sky had pink clouds and a faded blue sky. The crowd startled her as they cawed and cooed before fluttering off.
She checked every drawer then came across the bottom one, finding 4 different stones. She grinned then pulling them all out and laying them on the floor. She sat on the floor and arranged them.
"Okay okay. . . Rainbow is probably busy Sleeping, Stargazer is probably in the library, Solar is most likely with the Queen, and. . Akira!"
"I'll message Akira, I'm sure she'll receive it!" She grabbed the blue tipped Stone and held it unsteadily, hands shaking like it was an ash Rock.
She shook it repeatedly as it flew a bright blue. She then spoke shakily. "Hey, Akira. . . This is very, VERY important. I need you to meet me in front of Mount Thorn with the rest. . By the evening? Okay, please, I think. . . I finally found it. Once you get this, tell all the others to say bye to their parents, we'll stay together for the rest of our lives until we solve our destiny."
She then shook it once more and the glowing stopped. "Okay, okay, it should be delivered." Her claws shaking, she gathered all the stones together and shoved them back into the drawer.
She stared down her bed, eyes flashing with doubt.
This is your chance, your destiny. Instead of hiding in fear and worry of being mistreated.
But I'll never see my family again.
Time to say goodbye.
She walked out, shivering slightly. Her whole family was in the living room, Snake holding Egypt in his claws and Bobcat huddling up against the furniture.
"Oh my goodness, Cactus! I was so worried!" Egypt's voice shook, as Snake chartered his teeth. Obviously, Bobcat couldn't fix the temperature problem.
Cactus twitched her tail nervously, fiddling with her claws before she breathed sharply. "I-I'm leaving."
"W-what? What do you mean?" Said Snake. Cactus now got everyone's attention, their eyes filled with black pools of devastation.
"I-. . .Im meeting with the Dragonets again, I know my p-urpose," she closed her eyes as her final part of the sentence came out hesitantly. "But. . I won't be living with you any longer."
There was a long, unusually quiet pause before Snake stood up, his eyes watering slightly. "I knew this would come soon,"
He stepped forward, his weak gaze grinning as a tear fell down his cheek. "I know you'll do it."
Egypt appeared behind him with Bobcat. "We'll miss you. We will, so, so, so much." She cried softly, Bobcat hugging her tightly.
"Just, be safe, and make sure to visit us from time to time," Bobcat giggled through her tears. "I love you."
"We all love you." Egypt smiled bigger. Cactus cried as well, her fav heating up with a bit of painful stinging from the contact with water.
"I love you all too, so, so, so much." She wiped her tears. "I would hug you, but I'm afraid I can't." She laughed softly, as everyone else giggled slightly.
"Well, I'm going to gather my stuff, and take a rest till mid-day." She smiled then turned to head to her room. (I know, this whole scene is soooooo cheesy.)
She quietly shut the door behind her, slumping down im into her bed. She sighed loudly, her chest raising as she stared at the ceiling for countless minutes. She flicked the light switch with her tail and the room got dark as she closed her blinds.
She then flicked on this weird candle shaped machine thing that had star shaped patterns on top and a blue light source inside that flowed through. Blue and beautiful white stars glittered across her room with the constellations traced out. She smiled calmly, before she slowly drifted to sleep.
     Tomorrow's the day.
