It was now morning, dew everywhere and grass prickly. The sun blistered off of the grass as the morning birds crowed.
Cactus immediately jumped up to a burning feeling. She panted, flying into the air as the other jolted awake and stared at her.
"What's wrong?" Said Stargazer, looking around frantically. Cactus held herself then calmed down, landing on a large Boulder. "The grass was wet. Sorry for waking you."
Solar rubbed his eyes before the others stretched out their wings. Akira shook her head as she walked in the tall grass. "Ready to go?"

They were off in the air, eyes fluttering and wings flapping. Cactus was at the back, taking a view of the grass below.
Of course, the day wasn't silent, crows were cawing and the wind was gushing through  their ears. But their hearts told them to fly faster, and their head told them it was a journey.
"So. . ." Said Solar, yawning a bit as he flew up to Cactus, but keeping far away enough to not touch her.
"What do you think your power will be?" He continued, his tail lashing behind him. Cactus just shrugged. "I mean. . I don't know. . "
Minutes later, They just kept flying, until their wings needed a break. Cactus landed with a slight thud on a boulder. Her theist has a sudden need of water.
It was like her throat was tugging her towards water, though since she was a SandWing, she didn't need as much water.
"Anyone else thirsty?" She said hoarsely. Akira shook her head. "Mm, no."
"I am!" Shouted Rain(rainbow).
"Okay, you guys stay here, me and rain will go and get something to drink." Cactus said, quickly taking off towards the nearest dream she ever saw.
Rainbow glared at Cactus, a bit confused. "Why all of a sudden you speak of getting water? You never need any."
Cactus shrugged. "I don't really know. All of a sudden my throat sortve. . Squeezed."
"Hmm," rain hummed. Ahead, was a herd of wild cattle, feasting on the high, tall pale colored grass. But the two older Dragonets didn't scare the herd, just flying past and landing along side the stream of water.
"You are able to drink from it. . Without burning. . Right?" Rain said before bending down to lap at the water with her tongue.
Cactus nodded. "I was also given the gift to swim and drink." Once she bent down and started to lap at the water, she felt that feeling.
That same, tingling, feeling.
What is it now? Am I not aloud to drink? For SwiftWings sake, I should be able to drink!
What's wrong with drinking?
Or. . Is it something else?
Suddenly, the ground shook. They both looked up, water dripping from their snouts as they stared at each other, ears pinning to their heads.
As they both looked forward, there came the herd, running towards them with loud, shaking steps.
They were running from something.
Rain and Cactus took off running towards their friends, and since their wings were weak and they couldn't find a current to fly in.
And as Cactus turned her head to look back, there was ash, his harsh, terrifying look staring down with anger at Cactus.

He was still alive.
