Wings of the Crystal : The Lost City

       The three crept down the hallway, Stargazer  leading them. They walked past many different paths, but they kept walking straight.
       "How do u know where you're going around here? It's all so. . Bland. . And dark." Cactus whispered.
          Rain and Stargazer both shushed her.
    Cactus rolled her eyes before lowering her head due to seeing two NightWings come from another path.
      "Stargazer? What are you doing? And. . Are those the-" One said, his spikes on his back flailing up.
       Stargazer cut the dragon off. "We are just, going to see ol' wise one. And um, yeah, these are some of the Crystal Dragonets. ." stargazer chuckled nervously.
Who in SwiftWings name is Ol' Wise one?
       One of the NightWings looked over at Cactus with a scowl. Stargazer leaned to Cactus, whispering with his voice really quiet and his voice clicking. "Do NOT think, she can read minds." He leaned back.
         The Two NightWings made a low hiss, then stood like soldiers with their chests buffed out. "Sorry Stargazer, but I'm afraid we can't let you and your friends past. Especially your friend there." The taller one pointed to Cactus.
      Cactus snarled. She walked up to both of them and got close to their faces, scoffing. "listen here, you mouth breathers, I do NOT want to hear anything about my tribe out of your so called Snouts. I have nothing to do with the war, heck, I'm not aloud in it! So if you are going to rant about me OR my tribe, I'll have to burn you! And I'll like to have a little chat with your king, or general. Either will be just great! Setting a trap in a war ISN'T FAIR. NOW, BUGGER OFF OR ILL HAVE TO BURN YOUR EYEBALLS OUT AND WATCH YOUR INSIDES BURN TOO AND THROUGH YOUR SKIN, THEN EAT YOUR ASHES WHOLE."
     The Two NightWings scrambled to their feet with wide eyes, one gulping and charging off. The male just rolled his eyes, but obviously you could see he was quite frightened. He stormed off with his sister, mumbling something.
           Cactus rubbed her hands together like she was wiping off dust and turned to the others. They were jaw dropped. They shook their heads and focused down the path.
        They continued down the hall and finally took a right, from what Stargazer knew. They walked down a hall a bit more until they reached a large, wide long room that had beautiful, soft fuzzy red carpet. They had many Oak brown shelves that were very large. Half were filled with Books, and in the very far back were scrolls.
         There was a long front desk with four different sections for the four different NightWings working at it. There was golden poles lined with long ropes to each one forming a line. There was many tables with younger NightWings sitting at, with piles and piles of Books and scrolls.
             "Woah," Cactus said in awe. Rain looked around, scoffing. "How do you read AND write all this?"
              Stargazer just shrugged. He then turned to face them. "Alright, we'll have to split up. This dragon can be anywhere. Um, don't freak out when you see them." 
           "Them? I thought you said it was one dragon." Cactus said.
            "Just-- you'll know what I mean!" He booked off down rows of shelves. Rain fluttered her eyes. Rain then walked off, looking through rows as well.
             Cactus stood for a few moments, taking in the old, ink scented air and scenery of the library. "Hold on, how. ." She was already standing through the carpet. She panicked, waiting for flames to start. But there was no sign of fire.
Hmmm, strange. . How is it NOT on fire?" Cactus just shrugged off the thought and started walking down the isle. She noticed a few knocked down books and on the side of the shelves were carved in arrows. One pointing to where she was, saying "Science," and the one pointing the opposite way said "History."
"UM, STARGAZER, CACTUS, I FOUND THE DRAGON, S. "
