"Now, you know if you both change your minds, I'll race back here from wherever the game is," Renee says as she hugs the two girls tightly.

Gabriela, Isabella and their mom were currently in front of the airport's entrance as they exchanged their goodbyes. Phil——their mother's new husband——was unloading the twins' bags, as he tried to hide the tears in his eyes. He was going to miss the girls he always saw as his daughters.

"We won't change our minds, mom," Gabby said as she hugged her, a sad smile playing in her lips.

"You might." She said, pointing at Bella, "You've always hated Forks."

"Mom, I want to go with Gabby, I'll be fine. We'll be fine," Bella said as she reassured mom, wrapping an arm around her older sister's shoulders.

Engulfing the girls in another group hug, Phil walked up and kissed the girls on the forehead, making sure to tell them that he'll gladly kick any guy's ass if he annoys them, which made the girls laugh and hug Phil.

When it was time, the two girls walked into the airport. Gabriela could feel her heart rattle in her ribcage. She was nervous, but she can't pinpoint why.

There was no going back now.

When the two landed in Port Angeles, it was raining, as usual. Charlie Swan, a man in his 40s, waited for his twin daughters, with an anxious heart. He stood next to the cruiser with a small smile. As soon as he saw the girls, Charlie walked over as he gave the them awkward one-armed hugs.

"Your hair is longer," He said awkwardly to Bella, who wore a strained smiled, Gabby knew her sister was already regretting coming with her.

"I cut it since the last time I saw you," She answered as she wrapped an arm around herself, a habit Bella did when she didn't want to talk.

"Guess it grew out," Charlie answers which Bella nods to and looks away, indicating the conversation finished.

"Your hair its, Black?" Charlie asks as he looked over to Gabby as he gave her a look of confusion.

"I dyed it so mum won't get confused," She said as she fixed her jacket.

"Oh," He said nodding "How's your mum?"

"She's good," They say.

Exchanging a few more comments on the weather, which was wet, very wet, they made their way back home, in silence, which gave Gabby and Bella to admire––––criticise in Bella's case––––the scenery.

Everything was green, the trees with trunks covered in moss and the branches that had it hanging like a canopy, ferns carpeting the ground. The fresh air even filtered through the plants.

Gabriela loved it, Bella, not so much.

Eventually, the family made it home, where Gabriela saw the familiar small, three-bedroom house that their father bought with their mother during the early days of their marriage.

The two girls looked up at the white exterior of the house it was a lot duller than the one back in Arizona, even though, it still felt like home, to Gabby that is. Taking their bags, Gabby entered the room she used to sleep in when she was little. She was surprised that it had changed. The baby pink walls were now creamish white, while the princess canopy bed that was littered, with stuff animals, was now replaced with a white wooden bed frame that had its white paint chipping off, the once white carpet floor turned into brown floorboards. The only thing she was familiar with was the baby mobile, there were four of them, with a wooden base and white strings that held up various shades of blue and grey clouds. They hung by the window where the wind would blow it and turn. Placing her suitcase on her bed, she started to unpack her clothes and arrange them in the dresser and wardrobe.
