"How did you find me?" Bella asks as she sat in Edward's car.
"I should go back and rip their heads off." He answered instead, gritting his teeth in anger.
"NO!" Bella exclaims, "Bad idea, super bad!"
"You don't know the vile, repulsive things they were thinking." He reasoned.
"Right, and you do?"
Edward freezes as they stop at a traffic light. He needed something to cover up his slip up, but with the rage that was visibly slipping from his usually calm face, he was having trouble finding a good way to approach this without revealing much.
"It's not hard to guess. A bunch of asses that cornered a woman."

Edward parks the car in front of the Waterfall Restaurant where Bella was supposed to meet Jessica and Angela an hour ago, that was until the lovely encounter. As the two exit the car, the doors opens with Jessica and Angela coming out chatting, but they stop as they spot Bella.
"Where were you!? We left you a message!" Angela exclaims as she came bounding down the steps.
" We waited, really, but we were starving—" Jessica starts only to stop when she spies Edward behind Bella.
"Sorry I kept Bella from dinner. We ran into each other and got talking." Edward smiles as he politely nods at the two girls.
Both Jessica and Angela coo inwardly as they fall for the Cullen's charm, visible blushes spreading on their cheeks.
" I—we understand. We were just leaving, bye," Jessica says as she links her arm with Angela who nodded mutely, her tongue thick as she gazed at Edward. Bella smiles awkwardly at him, before turning to follow the duo when Edward reaches out and grabs her wrist.
"Maybe I should make sure Bella gets something to eat." He said to the two girls, then turning to Bella, "If you'd like. Then I could drive you back myself."
"That's so, thoughtful." Angela swoons.
"Really thoughtful," Jessica adds, suggestively.
"I could eat," Bella answers as she looked over to the two girls before saying goodbye and following Edward into the restaurant.
Once the pair were out of sight, the two girls share a look before softly squealing. OH MY GOD!

When they were seated, ordered and served. Bella started to eat only to notice Edward's empty dinner set.
"You're not eating?" She wondered genuinely.
"I'm on a special diet," He answered spite in his tone.
"Like South Beach?" she teased.
"Not exactly."
Bella stares at him through her lashes, a curious look on her face as she took another bite of her meal. He was a very unusual person and so was his family. Once she was done with her meal, she looked over to Edward again, he had sat silently watching her eat, sometimes he would crack open some conversation starters but it would end quickly when she would take a bite. So, now finished, it was Bella's turn to ask some questions.
