Happy thanks giving everyone! In school we have something called FAME (Freshman Achieving Maximum Excellence) which we have to go to 2 times a week during half our lunch period. It sucks. But on the bright side the theme they fought recently was thankfulness. We had to talk about what we were thankful for and this story immediately came to mind. Of course I couldn't talk about why I'm thankful for my Naruto fanfic that has an oc who is a cannibal. So I'm sharing it with you.
Thank you so much everyone. I have notifications so I get every comment, every vote, and every time someone add this story to their reading lists. Of course I don't always comment on your comment but I still do. It warms my heart every time someone loves the story or comments positive things. I try not to do many chapters that don't have any continuation to the story, but this felt relevant. Recently a bunch of my family members have been passing away and it's really hitting me hard. That's why I don't update as often any more. I'm trying to get out of this deep hole and I'm getting there.
Thank you for everything you guys did for this story. I can't thank you guys enough. This story started out as a I'll do a few chapters and be done. That obviously didn't happen. Happy Thanks Giving, it's the season of giving and I don't have a lot to give but I can share a few things.
For new writers I have a few tips.
Don't be afraid of trying a new idea, this story started as a wild untamed idea.
The reader is smart, don't say the character is happy show that they are happy.
Ex: Lilly walked with a spring in her step, a joyful smile etched onto her face.
It makes the story much more fun to read.
Details are your best friend, it's like flavor to a cake.
'Bad' ex: the kitten was cute
'Good' ex: the kitten was a big orange ball of fluff, a cute little smile and closed eyes made her seem like a little cloud.
