Flowerpaw backed against the wall of the apprentice's den as I lay there, cowering and and dizzy as Novafur stood over me. "I knew you were hiding a secret, but I couldn't imagine you were a twoleg. Oh, how the clan is going to love this." He laughed, and I just regained enough consciousness to be afraid.
After that, Flowerpaw had gathered enough courage to stand up for me. "If you tell the clan, so help me I'll... I'll.."
"You'll what? Tell your mommy on me? Sorry dear, but I'm afraid you have no power whatsoever. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be off now. Oh, and if you tell anybody about this, I'll feast on you both." He said menacingly while crunching a pinecone with his claws. I shivered imagining that being me.
Flowerpaw was shivering now, tears streaming out of her eyes as she huddled up against the back wall. Novafur walked away, and she quietly wailed, terrified.
Instead of comforting her like I normally would, I ran outside to the boys. "Guys, come quick!" I said as I immediately whipped around and dashed out of camp. I could hear their paws thrumming behind me as I broke the news to them about Novafur.
"But we have to leave in two days!" Cheetahpaw protested.
"What're we going to do?!" Eclipsepaw franticly said.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling this won't end well..." I said nervously.
