The next day, Annie awoke and found Jean sitting at the table drinking a cup of coffee.

"I love our rooms." He said. Annie poured herself some coffee, not answering Jean.

She sat down. Annie was wearing a green sweater, and black pants, along with blackish brown shoes, with her blonde hair in its usual hairdo.

She moved her bangs, eyes closed, and she took a sip of her coffee.

"Everything is better here than where we live." Annie finally said, breaking the silence that was between her and Jean.

"Did you find the secret food supply in your room?" Jean asked.

"As in that, do you mean the buttons on the wall?" Annie asked.

"Yes." Jean said nodding only once.

"Then indeed I have." Annie took another sip of her coffee. Jean looked around.

The door swung open, and came in was Pixis. He went to the mini bar and poured himself some liquor.

"I thought you said you'll start drinking less?" Jean said.

"I have." He replied. "This is my first alcohol drink today. Evelyn said that I should drink only once a day."

"Good. Because we're gonna need your help." Jean said. Pixis turned around, leaning against the mini bar, right hand to keep him steady and left hand holding the drink. He had a smile on his face, and his eyes were closed.

"I know Jean, I know." He said, taking a sip. "Mm."

"Umm. Are you gonna show us, who were going against?" Annie asked. Pixis looked up at her, and smiled.

The two sat on the couch, while Pixis went through the small clips of the people her and Jean were going against.

"Okay, here is Jessica and James. Brother and sister. They one the last game. Tip about these two, very fast and strong. Very sneaky too, don't trust them. Along with the second clip I'm about to show you.
"Here we have Clove and Cato. Best friends, with the same tip as Jessica and James. Again don't trust these two.
"The third one-" Pixis went on and on about the other competitors. Until he went to the one before Annie and Jean. "Okay here, we have Dexter and April. Dexter is very strong so don't mess with him, unless your capable, and April must be very easy to deal with because of how small she is, but I have heard rumors she is the smartest competitor."

"How smart?" Annie asked.

"I will say, maybe Armin smart. But I don't know." Pixis said. He then went to the last clip. "And here we have you and Jean."

It showed Annie and Jean side by side, Evelyn's right arm peeking through. Jean looked ready, and Annie looked depressed as usual. Probably because she just volunteered for her father.

Annie couldn't help but wonder how he was doing back at home. She imagined him throwing and breaking things, drinking, crying saying it's his fault, and maybe Bertholdt and Reiner there to support him and watch him. Keeping their job, to keep her father alive.

Pixis turned off the screen.

"There you go." He said.

"Are you gonna give us any other tips?" Jean questioned. "Maybe who else to trust, what to do, how to do it, when it will be the right time to kill that person?"

"Oh, I have to meet the other competitors in person to give you all those tips. But if I were you, just only trust the other competitors that were after Jessica and James, along with Clove and Cato. Besides those four, trust the rest."
