Annie could see the shadow of the two feet. It was male alright. The just stood there, waiting for them to come out.

Annie wondered who it was. She wanted to sneak a bit forward, to get a good view of the male, but it was way too risky.

The person was breathing heavy, as if he was hurt or running. The person the reached his hand out.

Jean went pale, and Annie was getting ready to shoot her arrow when suddenly a scream was heard and he took off.

Jean took a breath, then coughed.

"Good timing." He coughed. "I couldn't hold my breath anymore."

Annie dropped her arrow, back into the quiver and held her bow tightly.

"Let's not laugh that loud again." She said. Another cannon went off. Four people dead now.

"I wondered who died." Jean said.

"I don't know." Annie whispered.

"Do you know how many people are left, by any chance?" Jean wondered.

"Uh, there was ten until now so... Six left?" She guessed.

"I'm guessing Cato, Clove, you, me, Emma, and Dexter." Jean guessed. Annie looked at Jean.

"Who's Emma?"

"Town five." He said.

"Oh." Annie whispered. She wondered how Dexter was doing. Maybe he knew about April, and her death? Maybe he was gonna strike Annie next, because she didn't save April like how she was suppose to.

Annie went to go see who died, and who is alive. She looked at the sky, and Jean's guess was correct.

The remaining competitors were her, Jean, Cato, Clove, Emma, and Dexter.

Annie drew her head back in.

"Your guess was correct." Annie said. Jean blinked.

"So...now what?" Jean asked.

"We stay here, until they're all dead." She replied, standing up and walking towards him.

"But...we have to get out at some point for food." Jean coughed.

Annie looked down. Knowing Jean was right. Then her eyes sparkled.

"I'm gonna go and get the food, while you will stay here, resting up near a warm fire." She said.

"W-what?"

"Jean. Your sickly, and if we both go you'll slow, not only me, but both of us down. So, that's why when I go out for food you'll stay here, while I go and hunt. Just until your no longer sick, and your leg is healed."

"O-okay." Jean dozed off. Annie blinked and kept guard again.

Then the speaker came back on.

"ATTENTION!" The voice boomed. "TOMORROW MORNING, AT DAWN THERE WOULD BE A FEAST. ANY REMAINING COMPETITORS, THERE WOULD BE A FEAST AT DAWN!"

Annie raised her head.

The Feast!
